Stormy Weather...

Today we had our first "Winter" storm! We woke up to rain, thunder and HAIL! The kids were so excited. Jeremy took Cali and Luke on a walk through the cold, wet weather!

For Gavin's Birthday, he wanted to go to Disneyland with his cousins. So I drove all 6 of these (awesome) cuties up to Anaheim for the day. Because we all have annual passes (thanks Gammy & Papa), we all got in free. If you have a pass, on your birthday you get a choice of a $72 gift card or a Dream Fast Pass. Because it ws a crowded day (day before Thanksgiving), we got the Fast Passes. This allowed us to use the Fast Pass line on pretty much all of our favorite rides! Gavin discovered the Grizzly Rapids, and after 7 times on that thing, it is his new favorite! We had a blast! Happy Birthday Gav!

Thanksgiving FHE

We had our Thanksgiving themed FHE tonight and wrote down what we were thankful for this year! Daddy was thankful for the fact that he has a job-a good job (we are all thankful for that!); Mommy is thankful for her home and family; Gavin is thankful for his food and family; Cali is thankful for her friends and family; Luke is thankful for the pilgrims; Brody (this is my favorite), is thankful for Gavin!
We ended the evening with the "Turkey Pokey"...

Last day as a Cub Scout

Gavin will be 11 on Wednesday. This means that he is no longer a cub scout, but a BOY scout! He had his Arrow of Light interview on Sunday and passed with flying colors. He'll be getting that at a cool ceremony in February. He's very excited. So for his last outing as a cub, he got to go with his troop up to Julian, to the Smith Ranch and Julian Railroad. They rode a mining train and got to go on a cool hike and across this cool rope bridge.

WE MADE FIRE!!!

Mommy was home alone with these 2 little rascals early Saturday evening. What should we do? They wanted to make a fire-so we did! And they were so proud of themselves!

Milestones...

So Lukey has had a pretty exciting week! On Sunday, he got his first set of stitches. About 7 of them, after running around in Nana's kitchen and colliding with her counter. Then on Wednesday he lost his first tooth!
