23 years

With Tianna's wedding being on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, we decided to celebrate our Anniversary the whole weekend long!  After the reception, we drove down to Redondo Beach and stayed the night in a cool hotel right across from the waterfront.
On Sunday, we actually woke up to rain!  We slept in and then went for a walk along the lagoon to the pier.  It was COLD!  But it was pretty!

Unfortunately, I got myself a terrible migraine.  I ended up spending the rest of the day in bed.  Jeremy went and picked up a yummy dinner and brought it back to the hotel.  I ended up eating around 9PM.  Then we watched movies until 1 in the morning.
Monday-Memorial Day
We woke up to a beautiful, warm, sunny day!  After our hotel breakfast, we drove along the coast into Palos Verdes...

We stopped at the Trump National Golf Course and hike down to the beach...
We walked along some pretty tide pools to a place called, Portuguese Bend.

And this is the spot where I squatted and pee'd...
After our hike down and back up, we drove south along the PCH and enjoyed the beautiful day.  We stopped in Newport and had dinner and a boat ride with the Nelsons.  We caught this sunset off their balcony, before we ended our awesome weekend and headed home.
I had so much fun spending time with the love of my life, doing things I love to do.  I love the 23 years we've been able to spend together.  I can't wait for 23+++++++ more!

May 25th

May 25th is a special day, because 23 years ago, that's the day Jeremy and I said "I do"!
This year, it started off very special.  We got to spend our Anniversary in the LA temple, witnessing a beautiful sealing for Tianna (Smith) and Ryan Nilsen.
Asher was stoked to be in his cute suit and to be there to see his Mama marry his favorite new stepdad!  He was pretty excited to see us too!
 So happy for this family!

The reception took place at Ryan's mom's house in Simi Valley and it was probably the fanciest reception I've ever been to!

It was a full (hot) day of celebrating love with love!
side note - when Tianna told me the date of her wedding, I told her that that was our anniversary.  She said that she was so excited.  She felt that it was a good luck charm.
I wish her all the luck and happiness in the world.  She (& Asher) deserve it!

Old Town Date Night

While Cali was at Prom, Jeremy and I headed to Old Town to play until we had to pick her up.

We had dinner at my favorite restaurant, Barra Barra...
Then we walked around and enjoyed the beautiful moonlit night...
 I climbed a cool tree!

Then we sat and listened to some fun music.  We spent the next couple of hours in a Ralph's parking lot until Cali called and told us to come pick her up.  What a night!

Junior Prom

Cali had spent the year in ASB working her butt off on this prom.  She wasn't really pumped on going, but dangit!, she was going to go and make it a fun night because she put so much into making it happen.  The theme was, " Fly Me to the Moon".  I think.  She wanted a dress with stars on it.  So I searched the internet and found the perfect dress at Sears!  She also wanted a pretty up-do.  So, I googled "easy up dos" and bam!  I was able to give her a beautiful hair do!  The day finally arrived in mid-May.  We picked up her buddy Alyssa and some Olive Garden take out and had dinner at our house.  Then we went down to the corner and took pics at the little garden outside the fire station.
Isn't my little girl stunning?

The firefighters were so cute and sweet and talked to them for a bit and asked if they wanted a pic with the truck.  Heck yeah!
I just couldn't get over how beautiful and how grown up she looked...

And the best part???  Because we were on the corner, so many of our friends were able to come by and send her off!  Mama Renner just happened to be driving by and hopped out to wish Cali a happy night!

And her little fan club also showed up to wish her luck!
 And her "Mamas"!
Jer and I drove them down to the Broadway Pier at the Embarcadero in San Diego.  That's where the event took place.  The girls had a fun night with their buds!
