Mama's 70th Birthday!

Friday. October 8th-
My mom's birthday was on October 12th.  She had plans, so I surprised her with a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!  Just the 2 of us!  We had such a fun day!  And she LOVED the photopass pics!  We did them all!

Her first blue milk.  She was not a fan.

We spent most of the day in Fantasy Land.  We did do Thunder Mountain, Matterhorn, Haunted Mansion, Rise of the Resistance, Smugglers Run and Pirates of the Caribbean too!  We closed the place down and even watched the fireworks!  I am so glad I could do something special for her on her special day.  I love my Mama!
HBD MA!

Halloween is coming!

Between sessions of General Conference, Cali did this lovely chalk marker drawing of the Great Pumpkin!  She's so talented!
And then boxes started arriving almost everyday from my very own "Great Pumpkin", Jackie.  She spoiled me for my birthday with gifts arriving all month.  It was pretty cool!

Crashing Jeremy's Conference

Jeremy had a conference in downtown San Diego, September 29-October 2nd.  He was staying at the Grand Hyatt and I decided to take Friday off of work and join him.  I drove down Thursday night and we went to dinner.  Then we relaxed and enjoyed the view from his room-

Friday, October 1st
Jeremy had to be up early and down to the conference.  I got to sleep in!  Then I headed to the pool for the day.
It was a HOT day in San Diego and I took advantage of the sun and the food and drinks by the pool.  Had my own little "me party" and loved it!
That night when Jeremy was finished, we hopped on the ferry to Coronado for dinner at Saiko Sushi.  Face masks were required and we left ours at the Hotel.  So, we used our jackets!
We rode the ferry over just as the sun was setting...

We walked right into Saiko and ate at the bar.  We had the best service and the yummiest sushi!  It was such a great day!
Saturday, Oct 2nd-
We slept in and then we grabbed the breakfast buffet at the hotel.  We did not want to leave, but we needed to get home and enjoy conference weekend with our family.  I am so glad I let Jeremy talk me into taking the day off and taking time for myself.  It was so needed.  And I always love it when the two of us can adventure together!

Get On Your Feet!

Tuesday September 28th-
Cali and I hit up the Moonlight for their last show of the season.  It was the story of Gloria Estefan.  It was awesome!

Happy 24th Birthday Kristin!

Kristin's Birthday is on the 23rd.  But that was on Thursday and they were going to Disneyland.  So we had a little family party on the Sunday before.  Fun to celebrate her first birthday as officially part of the family!

We Love You Kristin!

First Day of Preschool (& Freedom)

Hailee started Pre-K at Cal Ave on September 6th!
She is in Miss Karen's class and Miss Deanna's.  She has all of her buddies in her morning class and was so stoked to go!  Here's her and Jackson anxiously waiting to go in!

And I get a little break with just 1-2 kids, Mon-Thurs from 9:30-2:45!  Woohoo!  Win Win!

Happy 70th Birthday Daddy!

My dad turned 70 on August 26th!
But he was out of town.  So, we had a little party for him on Sunday, September 5th.
My family was still being weird and couldn't be in the same place together, so for his gift I got him a date with me a couple of weeks later.  I took him mini golfing and out to dinner and it was awesome!  I love my dad so much and he deserves all the good things!  I aske him what he wanted...more than anything, he wants his family to be together.  I hope he gets that soon.

First Job

Luke got a job!
September 2, 2021
Working at the Regal in Carlsbad.
He was an awesome, hard worker.  But he hated it.  He only worked there for a month or so.

Back to the Temple!

 Finally!
The temple is finally open for all ordinances in -person again.  Our ward chose the last Friday of the month as our new temple night.  It felt so good to be back.  The session has changed so much because of Covid and other things.  But it is still the most uplifting, peaceful and beautiful place on earth.

No Boys Allowed Beach Day!

Brody's back in school and I watch Blakely on MWF.

We celebrated the last Thursday in August with a Girls Only Beach Day!

And it was Glorious!

Luke's Turn

 Monday, August 23, 2021
Luke got his wisdom teeth removed.  I was so worried how he was going to handle it.  Especially since Cali had such a sad experience.  But he was freaking hilarious!  Laughing, making jokes, singing!  I love "High Luke"!  He did so good and recovered so well.  And I am so glad!

Christian's HC talk

 Sunday August 22, 2021
We got to hear Christian report on his mission.  He is the coolest and we love him so much.  We felt very lucky that we got to spend some time with him before he left for BYU that week.
