Eric Weddle

 A few days after the Super Bowl, Jeremy got to attend a BYU networking event in San Diego and meet Eric Weddle.

Weddle was the key note speaker and had been scheduled months in advance.  He has been retired from football for a few years, but a few weeks before the playoffs, head coach Sean McVay of the LA Rams called him up and asked him to come play for the Rams.  He did and helped them win the Super Bowl with a torn pec!  The guy is a stud.  Jeremy played soccer in his final season (the one where he broke his leg), with Eric's wife.  Their team also went on to win the championship.  So, they had alot in common!

 I picked up Hailee on Jeremy's Birthday and heard my back make a funny noise and it hurt.  It hurt a little bit more each day after, and then on Valentines Day, I could not move.  I could not sit, stand or lay down.  Everything hurt so bad.  So, I went to Urgent Care.  They determined that I had sciatica.  They gave me a shot in the butt for the pain and sent me on my way with a "Good Luck" hope it goes away soon.  The shot did nothing and I was still in pain for days.

They did give me muscle relaxers to take at night and I was taking Ibuprofen all day and laying on the heating pad non-stop!  I missed that whole week of work and kept re-injuring the area when I would just sit down or move in a weird way.  It was miserable.  After a week, I went to see my doctor and he put me on steroids and gave me a referral to physical therapy.  It took 2 months, but finally by mid April, I was able to move again, with just a little soreness.  It turns out that my bulging discs actually tore through the muscle.  That's why it hurt so bad and took so long to get relief.  I am going to retire from watching kids.  June 10th will be my last day.  I think my body is done.

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!

 

Yessss!  One of my favorite days of the year.  And I was really excited about this matchup, but more excited about the halftime show!  And the food!

The game was so good.  Really close the whole time.

The Pepsi Halftime show was performed by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent!!!

It was so much fun singing and dancing with my kids the whole time.

Burgers, Guns and Shakes

 I asked Jeremy what he wanted to do with our friends for his birthday.  He said he wanted a burger, to shoot guns and a shake from Peppertree,  So that is exactly what we did.  

We met everyone at Ty's Burger House for dinner.

Then we all went to Iron Sights is Oceanside to shoot some guns.

Neither one of us had ever done this before and it was a little intimidating.  But Jaxon and Brian are pros and really helped us all.

We shot big and little guns and everyone had so much fun!

We finished the night with shakes and some of us went back to the compound for games.

He had the best night and I am so glad that we have such great friends to celebrate with.

Beckdawg

 The first weekend of February, Becky came to visit!

She has started her own sports photography business and wanted to take pics of Brody's Rugby Games!  Friday, February 4th

Vista hosted a night tournament and she got some good pics!

After the games, the sisters went out!  We have so much fun together!  We shut the Outback Steakhouse down!

On Saturday, the whole Wilson Clan came out to cheer Brody on in his other all day tournament.

He played amazing and Becky got some really great pics!

I love my SIL.  She makes everything so fun and she's really cool.  Glad we got this weekend with her.
