Princess Sarah

Last Friday night, I returned to RBVHS for their Homecoming Game.  The whole family was there because Sarah was Homecoming Court!  We were so excited for her!
She looked gorgeous and brother looked pretty cute all dressed up in his tux.  He also looked pretty proud of his (not so) little girl!

We were pumped!  My kids all made signs and waved them when she went by on her float-

As Mark walked her down the field to the stage, the announcer read a little speech about Sarah.  It was so loud, we couldn't hear it though...

I'm pretty sure she got more love and attention than the Queen!  Love this girl and so proud I get to be her Auntie!

And she rocked it as Drum Major in her dress...

It was such a fun family night...but these 2 got tired and cold and left with daddy before the game ended...
After the game, the band did their tournament performance.  Sarah looked so awesome leading them in her dress.  She is Amazing!

I took a video of the whole thing, but blogger is having a hard time uploading.  So, I'll keep trying and hope to have it up on here soon!
Happy Homecoming Sar Bear!  We Love You and are so happy for you!

38 is Great!

Yesterday was my Birthday! Yay!  Jeremy and I celebrated on Monday, so I kind of felt like it was already gone.  I had to work and the Preece family brought me another homemade giant heart-shaped cookie!
I spent the morning doing my regular schedule.  Then, while the kids were napping, YOM and YOF brought me lunch.  We sat and ate together and they gave me a sweet card and some money (woo hoo!).  It was a quick lunch because I had to head out and start my first round of pick-ups.  Just as I was backing out, my mom showed up.  She hopped in the car with us and ended up spending the rest of the afternoon with us and helping me with all my pick-ups!  She gave me some sweet gifts and I love the pic she included in my card-

Jeremy picked up Outback for dinner and we just hung out together at home and watched "The Hobbit".  All the kids made me cards and then sat with me as I ordered gifts from them off of Amazon.com.

It was just a nice chillaxing night with my favorite people, my family.  I got to hear from lots of friends and family throughout the day on Facebook, Instagram, text and phone.  It was a really great day!  Happy Birthday to me!

MY Special Day!

My birthday is on Thursday.
I told Jeremy that all I wanted for my birthday was a special day at Disneyland, just me and him.  I made reservations at Ariel's Grotto and the World of Color show and couldn't wait to go yesterday.  BUT, on Saturday, while I was serving at Sister Fellars' Surprise Birthday party, Jeremy went surfing and fell.  He tore most of the skin off the top of his foot and bruised it all up real good.  Yesterday, we dropped the kids off at school and we were on our way to Disneyland and we stopped at 7 Eleven to get drinks and snacks.  Jeremy couldn't even walk into the store.  That's when I said..."we are not going to Disneyland".  He felt so bad, but I was not going to let him hurt himself all day.  I just wanted a special day with him.  It didn't need to be at Disneyland.  So we headed to the beach instead!
It was a gorgeous day and we had the kids all worked out getting rides home from school, so down to the Harbor we went.  We started with a late breakfast at the Beach Break Cafe and then laid on the beach and napped for 3 HOURS!!!!!  It was awesome!  We also read our books and took a (slow) walk along the beach.  We still didn't need to be home right away, so we went and got some ice cream at 31 Flavors, so that I could get Gold Medal Ribbon (oh yeah!).  We drove down the coast and watched the beautiful sunset.  We stopped at Las Olas in Cardiff for dinner-
It was DELISH!  It turned out to be an absolutely perfect day with my Honey!  I loved my Special Day!

Happy Birthday Gammy

Saturday was my mom's birthday!  So to celebrate, we had a spaghetti dinner and dessert party at my house on Sunday!

She got some fun gifts, and I tried to get good pics that she would approve of-

It was so fun hanging out together and celebrating my mom-

Cherry Pie (that no one ate...)-
She loved her night with her family.  That makes me happy!  I love my mom!  Happy Birthday!

Luke's Special Day

Monday was Lukey's Special Day!  This kid has always been my Disneyland boy.  Its not about the rides with him....its about the experience!  He had the whole day planned out and we did it all!  He is a creature of habit and so we stuck to the plan and it seemed so familiar, yet so special.  I had the best day, just me and him!  We started the day by getting fast passes to Star Tours.  It ended up being a pretty crowded day, so we were glad we did that.  Then it was off to Fantasy Land where we had lunch at Gepetto's and then hit his favorite rides (Pinocchio, Peter Pan & Mister Toad).

After Fantasy Land, we headed over to Tomorrow Land and rode Buzz Lightyear.  After the ride, he got himself a squashed penny souvenir.  He was so stoked!  We rode Star Tours after that with our fast passes and then headed into Star Trader to do some shopping.

 Meet the "Yoda 2000"-
AND he got himself some Mickey Gloves!  LOVE HIM!
The Tiki Room is must-see when Lukey is at Disneyland.
Our final stop at Disneyland was The Haunted Mansion.  This kid loves "The Nightmare Before Christmas".  He will only ride this when its Halloween or Christmastime.

Then it was to California Adventure where we had to see Muppets in 3D (a Lukey favorite).
We rode Monsters Inc and Toy Story Mania too, then ended our day with the Little Mermaid Adventure.
We had tried all day to get him his cookie ice cream sandwich, but all the vendors were out.  FINALLY, as we were leaving the parks, we found a vendor that had one.  He was a happy boy.  The day was perfect and so is he!  Love my Lukey!
