Home Sweet Home...

After spending so much time in Utah and thinking of how beautiful the mountains, trees, rivers, lakes and waterfalls were, I thought, maybe I could live there.  Then, as I was driving down the coast on Saturday....
Nope!  This IS my Home!  I love it!  This is where I'm supposed to be!

FCCSB Christmas in July

Saturday was the 5th Annual FCCSB Christmas in July Event at Carlsbad State Beach.  It was such a beautiful day and this year was better than last.  Gav was at Best of EFY and Cali was at Chloe's, so I just took the 2 little ones.  First stop, the Santa statue and FREE OTTER POPS!
They had a bunch of little games set up and the boys got to win candy:

 Tootsie Pops - Oh Yeah!
It was such a pretty day!  Jeremy was busy with his duties, so the boys and I just hung out and enjoyed it all.

Santa showed up at the end & the boys each got a squirt gun.  (My camera died, so I didn't get a pic...so sad...)

BUT - luckily, there was a professional photographer and I got these pics:

Utah Summer Vacation

When Grandma the White passed away, Jeremy & I decided that I needed to see my Grandmas as much as possible.  So, once a year, at least, I need to visit them.  So, Thursday the 19th, I loaded the kids up in the car and we were joined by our Lyndsey, and headed up to Utah for 9 days of family fun!  We drove straight through to Moroni!
Friday we spent the day napping and playing games....And of course, we played cards!  Uncle Rick, Uncle Steve and Auntie Diana came to visit in the afternoon and we got to play with them too.  Lyndsey left with her dad and the kids and I hung out with Granny for the night.
On Saturday, we were invited over to Steve & Diana's for a BBQ.  They have the coolest house in Elk Ridge with lots of fun things to do.  We got our ping pong on:

We got to have some quality time with the Sisemore Sisters (Granny & Claudia)
We got our foosball on...and Uncle Tommy is a foosball champ with his heightened (super hero) senses:
 We Love Uncle Tommy!
Then Uncle Steve loaded us up and we went hiking to a cool waterfall-

Followed by a trip to Cold Stone!
Sunday, we slept in and then headed up to West Jordan to visit Dusty & Joslin.  Cali was so happy to play with her Eden.
I had a great time hangin out with my Uncle-
 And my cute cousins!
We had a fun slumber party at Dusty & Joslin's and then we headed up to Park City for some Bauer fun on Monday.  Trini was our hostess for the day.
Kev sent us to "The Shed"  to play for the afternoon.  We played old school video games-
 Did some bowling-
 shot some hoops-
 And went swimming!
When Colby got home from work, we went fishing!

And, finally, after 2 hours of "chumming", WE GOT ONE!
To celebrate, we headed into Downtown Park City for some dinner at Main Street Pizza & Noodles.  It was delicious!  Thanks Kev!
Our plans got changed Monday night.  We were supposed to head into Salt Lake and spend the next few days with Gramma Gerry.  But, she wasn't feeling well and Papa Gene was recovering from hip surgery and was still in the hospital.  So, we got a hotel in Park City.  We had a great night's sleep and woke up on the 24th to a yummy FREE breakfast and watched "The Days of 47" parade.  The kids loved the parade!   Then we got dressed and headed down Provo Canyon to Mapleton for a 24th of July BBQ at Rick's.  We made a stop at Bridal Veil Falls-
We spent the day playing in Rick's backyard.... running through sprinklers-
 slippin' and slidin' -
even Granny ran through the sprinklers....

We played cards and watched movies all night and watched the fireworks before having a slumber party at Rick's!  It was such a fun day!
We got up early on Wednesday and dropped off Lyndsey at Dusty's.  Then we drove the 2 hours up to Logan to play with the Undhjem cousins.  We started the day with lunch in the park with Amanda's girls and some swimming with them and Steph's kids.

After swimming, we headed to Vanessa's for a BBQ with the rest of the family.  I misplaced my camera and didn't get any pics.....but we had a lot of fun playing with everyone.  We stayed with Stephanie & Jeremy that night and had so much fun with them too!
On Thursday, we finally got to see Gramma.  We drove to Salt Lake and had lunch with her and Izzy and Sage.  I wish we could have spent more time with her, but am just so glad we got to see her.... even if only for a couple of hours.
After our lunch with Gramma, we picked up Lynds from her dad's and headed back to Moroni.  We stopped at Diana's store and did some shopping-
Then we went and played at Randy & Carolyn's...

Friday morning we got up nice and early and told Granny and Sammy goodbye.  We made it home in record time!  We were so happy to be home, but had such a wonderful time!

3 Sweet Boys...

My mom and dad got to keep Christian, Shane & Joel for 2 weeks, while Gavin & Shawna & Camille went to Florida to find a place to live.  Mom had to work a bunch, so I got to have these little guys over for a couple days.  I'm so glad we got to play before they left!

Joel had fun playing with the trains and cars.  Shane had fun playing video games with Luke & Brody.
Christian spent his time at Mark & Tracy's.  But Mom and Dad brought him over to say goodbye.  Here's a couple of group shots:

I'm so lucky I get to be their Auntie!  We had so much fun with them.  They left the next day.... on an airplane w/ Gammy & Papa .... to be with their mommy and daddy and baby sister in their new home in Pensacola!  Love Them!
