Mothers Day Weekend

This year, I took my mom to a fun afternoon tea at Bliss Tea House in Oceanside.

We had a lovely time and I got some yummy teas to bring home.
Then, Sunday came!  Our stake got reorganized the week before and now we are in a new ward, The Santa Fe Ward.  We meet in the Bobier building at 9AM.  So, dad and Brody were up early and made me a delicious breakfast.

Guapo helped.
I was sitting in Relief Society, and all of a sudden, a got a text from Jenae Torgerson with these pics!

I was balling!  She got to see my girl, on Mothers Day and gave her a hug from her mama!  That made me so happy!
AND, I got to talk to her after church!

Then I got spoiled with some gifts!  A massage gun and a new PINK laptop!

Jeremy made me a yummy meal...
The Bronson girls came over and sang to me and left me a sweet card.
I didn't think I would get to here from Luke, because it wasn't his PDay, but HE CALLED ME TOO!  I got to hear from both of my missionaries and it totally made my day!  Gavin was up at Kristin's parents, but he CALLED me to wish me a Happy Mothers Day too.

I feel so loved and so blessed.  Happy Mothers Day to me!

Cinco de Mayo

It was so fun to have 2 special days in a row at Seminary.  The kids were stoked when they arrived and we had a whole bunch of mexican candy for them.

Cali sent a pic of her Star Wars and Cinco de Mayo presents that I sent.  She was so happy!
And we ended the day with The Three Amigos, of course!

May the 4th

This year was way different.
First of all, Jeremy and I got called to be the new Seminary Principals at the Bobier Building!  And this was our first week!  Wednesday was May 4th and I wanted to make it fun for the kids, because their year up to this point sucked.
So here we are greeting the kids in our Star Wars Sunday Best and I got everyone Pez!

They loved it!
Then I came home and just had Blakely for the day.  I tried to keep tradition alive with some Star Wars crafts-

And after she left, it was just me & El Guapo hanging out and watching Star Wars stuff.

I miss my little buddies, my kiddos.  But we managed to still make it fun, just a different kind.  MTFBWY, always!

May 3, 2022 -

I finally got to take Brynlee Boo our for her Birthday date!  We went to Best Pizza and Brew for dinner and got some yummy ice cream from Handel's for dessert.  This one is special and I sure loved spending some one on one time with her.

When I got home from our date, this sweet missionary daughter of mine messaged me that she made it t New York!  And then we got to video chat.  Kaci got to say "Hi" too.

When I got to talk to her, just me & her, she broke down in tears.  She did not want to get off that plane.  Then when she got to Palmyra, they didn't have a companion for her and she felt forgotten.  She just wanted to come home.  My heart broke for her.  I know that it was just bad communication and an unorganized mission home, but dangit!  My girl was hurting.  I tried to reassure her that everything would be ok and that she would get blessed with a wonderful companion and that this was just another hiccup and to just have faith that everything would work out.  I prayed hard that night.

Feliz Cumpleanos

 Sunday May 1st!
I wasn't sure I would get to see or hear from Luke on his 19th birthday.  But I was wrong!  He was able to call me and send me pics.  His pensinista (sp?)  made him a cake, they sang to him and made his day special.

His first few days in Bolivia were great!  He is doing great and is so happy.  I sent him a birthday card back in April and it finally arrived in July!  I was able to send him a cameo of John Heder wishing him a happy birthday.  It was awesome!  He was able to see that before he left and he loved it!
HBD Lukey Dukes!  We Love You!

And there he goes...

Look at this Itinerary!  It is crazy!  Elder Wilson has got himself some long travel days.  This mama prayed and prayed he would do ok.  And get there safely!

He was able to see Sister Wilson the night before he left...

And the day before, he was messaging me all stressed out that he didn't have enough room in his luggage for all of his stuff!  He never let me see the emails that detailed what exactly he needed, so I just did my best based on the information I had.  I thought we did so good with only 2 suitcases!  Then the most amazing thing happened, he told me that it wasn't my fault!  That is was on him.  That he should have been more and better prepared.  Whoa.  I was blown away.  I cried.  My boy was learning and maturing already.  And then he sent me this in the middle of the night as he was about to leave the MTC.  He did it!  Good luck my wonderful son!

I anxiously waited and checked my phone non-stop over the next 24-48 hours.  Then, the message came.  They made it safely.  And he was happy and ready.

Time to go to work!

Sea World with the littles

Brody had a random Wednesday off of school.  Hailee ahs an annual pass and Kenzee is free, so we headed to Sea World!

We had the best day!  Brody was so cute with the girls...

And Hailee fell in love with this turtle!
She did not want to leave him!
We all had a great day and the girls got some cute souvenirs!  Wally the Walrus and Polie the Polar Bear!
