Surprise Christmas

Back in November, I got a call from a RS President in Newport Beach.  They had money and no one to donate it to for Christmas.  They really wanted to be able to make someone's Christmas extra special and wanted to know if we had any families in the ward that could use that.  And we had 2!  I got to deliver the gifts for these families the day before Christmas Eve.  They were so happy and so grateful!  I loved being a part of it!

 Friday Dec 22nd...

We had our favorite friends over for dinner (pizza) and a trip to the Temple lights!

We love our friends, we love the lights, we love the temple and we love Jesus Christ!

Loved this night!

Gammy's Super LA Day of Play

For my mom's birthday, we got her tickets to Linsey Stirling's Christmas show.  So, on Thursday December 21st, we headed up to LA for a extra special day & the concert.  First stop - Porto's Glendale...

Then we headed over to the Americana on Brand for some Holiday shopping...

 I drove the girls through Forest Lawn Glendale to see the churches, took the scenic drive to Downtown LA and we checked into our hotel at LA Live.

 We got all bundled up and headed out for a fun night at the Microsoft Theater.

 LA Live was all decked out and it was a beautiful night!

 The concert was amazing and we especially loved how she shared her testimony numerous time in between numbers.  I love her!

 Our hotel was just across the street from the theater.  It was so nice just to be able to walk home after the show.

 I also got us matching pj's, because matching pj's are the best!

We had so much fun and even got to evacuate our hotel late at night due to a fire...which ended up being just something burnt in someone's microwave.  We slept in on Friday, grabbed a delicious breakfast on the way home and made som wonderful memories!

Happy Birthday Ever!!!

 Funny Story....

I woke up from a nap on Sunday afternoon.  Yelled at everyone to get in the car because we needed to get to Ever's party.  We all jump in and head over.  Only to discover that we were a week early!  Doh!

But, they were still excited to see us and I gave her her presents early.  So yay!

Fast Forward to the next Sunday...the actual party, Dec 17th.

We joined the rest of the family for the real party!

Can't believe how big these kids are getting!  We love our Kringle family and our Ever girl!

It's Done!

We were so late getting around to decorating this year!  But a little more than a week before Christmas, we got it done!

MVHS Winter Formal

Yep!  Our little girl got to go to her first Winter Formal.  We had the dress and the hair appt., and then our hair girl cancelled at the last minute (her grandma died).  So, Desi Strang always does her hair so awesome and her daughter's too.  I gave her a call to see if she'd be willing to play with Cali's hair and make it look pretty.  She totally did and saved the day!

 And she went with 2 of her besties...Yazmin & Alyssa!

She had so much fun.  But discovered that pretty dresses aren't always comfy!  Her first school formal in the books!

The Last Jedi

 Guys!  We got to see The Last Jedi on Opening Night at Cineopolis.  It may have been my favorite Star Wars movie so far!  I really need to see it again just to make sure.  It was fun, beautiful and emotional.  The best part?  Seeing it with my Star Wars Family.
