This year was weird.
We planned a bbq over at the beachy condo with Meish's family too. But when we woke up, Camp Pendleton announced that they had to cancel their firework show. We were bummed. But we all decided to still party at the condo.
We ended up spending the night watching all of the other firework shows around the county and watching all the local trouble makers setting off their own and getting chased by the police. It was actually super fun!
It was different, but fun and we love spending time with these peeps. Grateful for this country and for our family.
