Arrow of Light

Tonight was a very special night!
Luke has earned his Arrow of Light.  To celebrate, we went to his favorite restaurant-Islands!
Then it was off to the church for the ceremony.  He has pretty awesome leaders and they put together these awesome display tables.  I also added some of his favorite things...

We paid for these nice plaques that hold the arrows...

And it wouldn't be a pack meeting without Miss Rhiannon's cupcakes!  (In the shape of the Arrow of Light)
 Here's this year's graduating class...
Here's Luke sharing some of his favorite memories...
And here they go down the path...

 He did it!!!
I love getting my mommy pins!
We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished.  He loves Scouts!

Here he is getting his reward (2 bags of Tootsie Rolls), for memorizing the Scout Law and Oath-
Here he is with all of his awards-
He was so happy to have so many of his family members there to support him-

Here he is with the BEST Den Mom/Cubmaster EVER!!!  Sister Nevares (Chellie) is the reason he is here tonight.  We will miss her!

Cali's 1st Concert!!!

Cali has been waiting for this day since her birthday back in December.  Tracy had got tickets for Chloe for her birthday, and for Gammy and Papa for Christmas.  I so badly wanted to go too, but we took too long (Jer took too long...), to make a decision.  But Cali got to go and had the best time!  How Cool!

Happy Hearts Day! 2014

Last week was CRRRAAAZZZY!  Valentines Day totally snuck up on me and I was not prepared.  The cool thing was, it fell on Presidents Weekend this year, so the kids had the day off of school.  I got up early and picked up some love for my kiddos-
 They were so happy!
While I was out getting doughnuts, I stopped and grabbed some candy to fill their "love buckets".
They were so happy, once again!

It was a gorgeous day and was supposed to get up to 80 degrees, so we headed to the beach!
It was SOOOOOO nice!  No one was there, the temp was perfect and I got to just relax and read, while the kids played and played!

That night, the Kringels and the Bronsons, brought their kids over to our house to be babysat by our kids, and all of us grownups went out on the town.  First stop-Boomers!, for a Ski Ball and Basketball Competition.

Then we headed to Tommy V's in Carlsbad for a nice Valentines Day Dinner.  We were so excited to try the lovely items on the "Menu of Love"....except that the item I wanted was unavailable (bacon wrapped filet), Curse you Menu of Love!!!
I ended up getting the Cod and it was delicious.  Jeremy got an amazing calzone.  Here we are showing off our delicious desserts-

It was such a fun night!  We had fun with our friends and the kids did a great job babysitting!  We need to make this a more regular thing.
I love that I got to spend this day with great friends and family.  Happy Valentines Day!

41

Last Sunday (2/9), we had a birthday BBQ for Jer!  The fam and some friends came over to celebrate-

He got some fun presents and money-

AND his mommy and daddy got him a new ukulele!

it looks like 91 instead of 41 (Ha!)
On Monday (his real birthday), he spent the day on a field trip with Gav's class to the San Diego Islamic Center.  When they got home, he wanted to have dinner at Round Table Pizza.  So off we went and had fun celebrating our Daddy's birthday!

look at Cali's face...
I had gotten him the weekend in Big Bear for his birthday and then I got him a new Dropkick Murphy's CD...

His favorite gift was from the kids....4 tickets to JACK JOHNSON!!!
Happy Birthday Daddy!  We love you so much!
