Fancy Date Night

Saturday night was the Annual Boys & Girls Club of Oceanside Fundraising Gala.  Jeremy volunteers as a member of the Finance Committee, so we got to go.  I had to find a fancy dress, and found this one on Amazon for $39!  We don't get dressed up that often, so when we do, we document it.  Here's our "prom-style" pictures before leaving (courtesy of Gavin...)-

I seriously am not good at posing for pictures...

 But I like this one-
It was a fun night!  We were at a table with some really neat people and the food was delicious.  The Boys & Girls Club raised lots of money and we got to have a fun, fancy date night!

Best Weekend EVER!

This past weekend, Whitney had a conference for work and Jimmy decided to join her.  So, Cali was asked to watch this little one.  We got her Friday night and kept her until Sunday.  Cali really took it upon herself to be the one in charge of this little sweetie, and she did a great job.  She also got a taste of what it is to have a little sister.  Something that she has wished for her whole life.  We loved having her in our home and love he to pieces!

Lyndsey's Bday Party

This girl turns 25 this week!  We don't get to see her mom that much, so we planned a little celebration on our house.  Except, her mommy didn't come. Sad...
But we had fun celebrating our Lynds anyway!

39

I woke up Friday, October 17th to this...
My sweet husband had candy, flowers, balloons, chips and tp (tp?) set out to greet me!  He even took the boys to school for me.  Cali wasn't feeling well, so her and I spent the day being lazy and watching Netflix.  It was AWESOME!  She even let me open her gift early...
Around Noon, I got a sweet little visitor who wanted to bring me cake... (a doughnut)-
Then, that night, Jeremy put together a fun dinner with friends at the new Green Dragon Tavern.  But first, I got to open presents from my kiddos...
Lukey got me a lego millennium falcon...
Gav got me XMen Days of Future Past...
Brody got me a Mickey Mouse shirt...
And Mia got me a hug!
This man made sure I got spoiled all day!
We left the kids home to babysit everyone else's kids and we headed to dinner with some of my most favorite people...

I had such a wonderful day and night!  I heard from so many friends and relatives and could really feel the love.  I can't believe that I'm 39!  Its crazy to think that this time next year I will be 40!  It makes no difference, though!  I feel great and am so happy and grateful for all my blessings.

Cali's turn!

Last Wednesday, she got her metal grin!  18 months to go...

My Mama's Birthday!

Yesterday was my Mama's Birthday!  My gift to her was a special day on Saturday.  I surprised her with a trip up to the Walt Disney Studios for a "Sleeping Beauty" Anniversary screening and Maleficent panel!

We got free posters and browsed through the Studio Store.  The place was packed!  So, we opted out of shopping and headed to find food instead.
Goodbye WDS!  Another fun time was had by all!
I "urbanspooned" restaurants in Burbank and came across some great reviews of the Granville Casual Gourmet in the Village.  It did NOT disappoint!  It was such a cool place, the service was great and the food was phenomenal!
They even comped dessert for the Birthday girl!
I had a fun day spoiling my mom.  She deserves it!
Yesterday, on her actual birthday, we had a family spaghetti dinner...

Brody really wanted to be the Birthday Girl...
And she loved all of her gifts and cards...

We even skyped Sarah and met her boyfriend (gross)...

Jeremy made sure to threaten the poor guys life.  It was awesome!
It really was a fun weekend celebrating our Mom and Gammy!  We Love Her So Much!
