Halloween 2010 - Phase 3:

Since Halloween fell on a Sunday this year, we decided to have a big family dinner at my mom and dad's to celebrate the holiday and the October Birthdays.  The kids all decided to wear different costumes and Jeremy and I decided to dress up as well!  It was a fun filled day with lots of yumminess and even some Football!

Halloween 2010 - Phase 1:

Friday was the start of a crazy 3-Day Halloween Extravaganza!  I got the day off and went to school with Cali and Luke.  I am Luke's Room Parent, so I got to go and help with their Halloween Party.  OK-I planned the whole dang thing!  We made little monsters and masks.  I made little treat bags for everyone and then they made little spider snacks and watched a movie.  I ditched the snacks and movie, because I didn't want to miss THIS:

After school, Gavin had his first Middle School dance.  I was a little nervous about this.  I had to pick him up early, because I had to take Cali and Luke to a play.  When I walked into the auditorium, there was music playing, but no one was dancing.  In fact, the room was just filled with little huddles of girls and no boys to be seen.  The boys were all in the next room playing video games!  But here's Gavin (below) dancin' his way out to the car.

I joined Luke and Cali for a production of "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" at the Avo.  Their friends, Brock and Kennedy were in it.  It was really cute.  Once that was over, we raced over to the church to meet Daddy and the other 2 for V10's Trunk-r-Treat.

Cali was the cutest Ahsoka and Daddy was the ever original "Crazy Wig Man" w/ a twist this time-  A HAT!

The Greyhounds Season is over...

This year, Luke was lucky enough to be put on a great team with a great coach.  It was a great experience for him.  He learned alot and had a great time!  Their last game was canceled, due to rain.  So, we had one last practice and the parents scrimmaged the kids.  It was lots of fun.  After the practice, we had a pizza party and the boys got their medals.  He was so happy and I'm so glad he was able to have such a great soccer experience this year!

Coach Vass had nothing but positive, kind words for these kids!  I hope we get him next year!
Our little soccer player - For Reals!  The kid can play!  Good Job Lukey!

Anastasia...

Isn't she cute?  This is what Cali made at Activity Days yesterday!  She won't be able to last forever...so we had to post this ugly step-sister on the blog to remember her forever!

35

Yep-I'm now officially 35 years old!  I'm not afraid to say it!  It's been a great life so far!  This is me w/ my birthday brownie!  I had a wonderful day, actually weekend.  It started Friday night w/ a ladies night.  We went to Mi Guadalajara for dinner and then to a chick flick (see below).  I also got to sneak some Old Navy shopping in too.  Saturday night, I got to go out on a date w/ my hubby.  Panera for dinner and then a fun movie (see below), followed by a romantic grocery store run!  Sunday, I woke up with a terrible cold.  My kids came in carrying gifts and cards for their mommy!  Then it was off to church.  I survived, but came home and crashed on the couch.  Took a nap and enjoyed some Football!  My family waited on me and made me a yummy steak dinner.  My parents joined us and my mom made her yummy brownies!  It was a nice, relaxing birthday!  Looking forward to another great year!

2 Movie Reviews

Not as cute as I thought it was going to be,  It was quite inappropriate and had alot of bad language.  But, the story was cute and it had a happy ending.  It did bring tears to my eyes in some parts.
SO MUCH FUN!!!  This was a very entertaining movie!  I loved all the comedy and action and the casting was awesome!  It was actually pretty clean and didn't have as much foul language as the other movie.  It was a fun ride!

Harbor Days

Today was the first day of the annual Oceanside Harbor Days. This year there was a pirate theme and we thought it would be a fun family activity. IT WAS!!

We started with a double decker (Harry Potter Style), Shuttle Bus Ride to the Harbor:

We got some free inflatable swords and then headed for "Pirate School":

Enjoyed some YUMMY Butterfly Potatoes (AMAZING!!!!):

The little ones hit the Titanic Giant Slide:

We couldn't pass up some fun at the beach (It was a GORGEOUS day & no crowds on the beach):

We finished the day off with some sweet refreshments (the kids w/ Italian Ice & Mommy had homemade root beer in a can):

One last stop to check out the USMC Amphibious Assault Vehicle (Oh Yeah!):

We had a great time and highly recommend that everyone attend it in the future! Argh!
