Happy Earth Day

April 22nd is Earth Day!
To celebrate, AP and I planted flowers.

EASTER 2014

It came, it came, it really came!  the Easter Bunny made it to the Wilson home once again.  Our day was going to be crazy busy, so we had decided to wait until after church to do our basket search. Well, the 2 little ones got up nice and early and changed all of that!  They had sneaked downstairs and found all the baskets by 7:00 AM!  So, naturally, we all jumped in and found them ASAP!

We even had time to bite the heads off the Peeps!  Yay!

Both families had planned Easter dinners/hunts.  And both were scheduled at 3:00 PM.  It was so hard to figure out what we should do.  So, we asked Nana if we could come over to the Ranch in the morning, have Easter breakfast with them and go to Easter Church with them.  They loved the idea...so at 8:30 AM, we headed over.  She had little baskets for the kids and we had a yummy fruit, cinnamon roll and bacon breakfast.
We all got on our Easter Sunday Best and attended the F5 ward with Nana and Papa.  It was a great meeting because an RM spoke.  We just went to Sacrament Meeting and then came home to change and make food before heading over to Gammy's for the McEwan Family Easter!  But first, we had  a little Easter Photo Shoot-

Hoppity Hop....off to Gammy's we go...for the HUNT!

As usual, we all had a great time finding eggs, hidden baskets, eating yummy food and playing cards.  It was a busy, but wonderful Easter.  I am thankful for my Savior.  It is #BecauseofHim, families are forever and that we get to have special celebrations like this.  I know that He Lives and Loves all of us.  Happy Easter!

Savior of the World

5 months in the making...
Last Weekend, Easter Weekend, it finally happened!
Our Stake Youth Conference this year was the production of "Savior of the World".  They have spent every Saturday, almost every Sunday and many other nights getting ready for this.  I had the privilege to help out with the costumes, makeup and food prep.  I got to be upstairs with all these wonderful people, as they got ready to play the parts of some of the most amazing people in history.  Gavin played the part of Ezra, Zacharias' assistant.  Carter played on the of the 12 apostles.  Over 1500 people showed up Friday and Saturday night to see it.  The kids did such an amazing job and it was an even more amazing experience.  It was a wonderful way to kick off Easter.  I'm so glad that Gavin and I were able to be a part of it.

Oh Man! The GMan...

This kid steals my heart!
Look at that smile!
He is smiling at ME!!!
I feel so lucky that Cass lives so close.  We are able to have lunch dates.  And last Wednesday, we had a happy lunch date at Panera.  He is getting so big and is the happiest little guy.  I love him so much!

Cali's First Temple Trip

She has been so excited waiting for this day!  She had tried to get some names of her own to bring.  But for some reason, we couldn't get them to print out.  But the day came, last Tuesday and she was ready!  We met up with everyone at the church and then headed to In n Out for our traditional pre-Baptism dinner.
It was Destiny's first time too...they were just a little excited to go in.  The Bishop jumped in for a photo bomb before we headed in...

She was actually pretty nervous and got a little emotional once inside, because she was afraid of messing up.  I reassured her that she would do just fine.  Her daddy got to be there and was the one who was able to do the baptisms.  I may have gotten a little emotional myself while watching.  Thank goodness there was a sweet YSA Sister in the bathroom when she finished.  She lost her locker....but the Sister helped her find it!  When I asked her what she thought about it all afterward, she said it felt AWESOME!  It made her feel so happy.  She loved being in the Temple and loved how she felt in there.  She can't wait to go back.  We are so happy for her and love her so much!  So grateful we got to be there with her.

Punk Rock Red

He's been asking and asking...
Finally, Dad did it!  I was too scared.
And he LOVES it!

A Beautiful Day for a Wedding...

Saturday, April 12th, Shawna's sister Denise got married to Scott Roit.  Look at their cute family...
It was a really pretty day and Jeremy and I were grateful we were able to be there and share in their joy.  Sarah and Kevin played the music...

And it was so nice to just see and hang out with so many wonderful people...

The dinner reception was at Casa de Bandini (Yum!).  We didn't get to chat too much with Gavin and Shawna because they had a lot of family and friends there that we had to share them with.  But it was nice to be able to get what we could!  Can't wait until they live closer again.

Benihana Birthday

The weekend of April 11th, Gavin and Shawna came into town for Denise's wedding.  Shawna's birthday is on the 15th, so we were able to get together Friday night and celebrate.  We all went out to Benihana!!!

It was fun getting together with everyone and able to spend a little bit of time with these guys.  Happy Birthday Shawna!
