Gavin's 13th Birthday!

I can't believe it!  Where did the time go?
Yesterday was the big day...and it was a good one!  Gav woke up and his brothers and sister could not wait to give him their presents.  Luke had stayed up late the night before wrapping all of them.
PSP game from Lukey

Mad Libs from Cali

Wii game from Brody

French Toast and Bacon!!
Dad got the kid a knife!

We went over to Gammy's and Papa's to drop off the little boys and Gav got an Ultimate FX Darth Vader Lightsaber-oh yeah!
Then, we picked up Jacob and headed for (his present from Mom & Dad-besides his new hoodie):
Medieval Times!!!!
We were assigned the Green Knight's Section.  He was the villian in the show.  We sat in the 3rd row, right next to the King and Princess podium.  Jeremy got them their own swords and shields.  They used them to cheer on our knight.  Woo Hoo!
We got to eat with our hands.....Soup, Bread, Baby Dragon (chicken), ribs, potatoes, apple crisp and Pepsi to drink!  Mmmmm....Mmmmm Good!

They even announced Happy Birthday to "Sir Knight Gavin Wilson" and he got a birthday scroll:
These 2 had so much fun and were SO into the show.  They were the loudest and most excited in our section (except for maybe me).  Our knight was the last one to be defeated in the tournament.  It was so cool!
Happy Birthday Bug!  I'm so glad you had such a great day!

Then, on Sunday, we had a little dessert party with the family:

AND THEN...another pizza party night with Nana & Papa, when they got back from Texas:

It's been a good Birthday!

Turkey Day 2011

This year, it all began with the 4th Annual Vista 10th Ward Turkey Bowl.  It always starts as fun and games for the whole family, and always ends in someone getting hurt.  This year it was my brother, Mark & Brother Robertson.  Good Job Everyone!
We came home and watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, while I made the food I needed to take to Ben and Mishelle's for our feast!  We had a lovely dinner at their beautifully (almost) remodeled house, prepared by Meish and her mom, sister and aunt.  It was soooooo yummy.  And of course, the kids got whipped cream for dessert:
And Ben and Zac let me watch my 49er game on their t.v.  Look how excited they are:
Unfortunately, I was experiencing a nice migraine and didn't get a whole lot of pictures.  It was a wonderfully relaxing Thanksgiving and am so grateful for my sib-in-laws for hosting us this year!
WHAT WE ARE THANKFUL FOR THIS YEAR:
Jeremy:  Family; Health; New Job
Me:  Being the mommy and wife to this family
Gavin:  all the fun things he got to do with his family this year
Cali:  for her new friends
Luke:  the new Wii
Brody:  Jesus; Indians; Mommy

Thankful for Disneyland!

ouch
Our first stop:  The First Aid Office...
Brody had already fallen into a bush and got scratched up, then tripped before we even entered the park, and took the skin off his ankle!  That's my Boy!
But we still managed to have a fun-filled day.  It was crowded, but we didn't even notice, because we were having so much fun hanging out with David, Lyndsey and Gammy!
Lunch at Pizza Port

Drawing Dale at the Animation Academy:

Well Done Gammy!

Riding It's a Small World during the holidays is one of the most beautiful things EVER!

Our last ride of the day was Star Tours AND CALI WAS THE REBEL SPY!!!!  LUCKY!

Movie Review...

Cute.
Lots of fun music and familiar fairy tale characters.  I'm glad I had a gift card though...not sure I would've been happy paying full price for this one.

Another Heart Happy Moment...

So, Gavin is leaving to go on a canoe trip with Papa tonight and won't be back until Wednesday.  He was just telling everyone goodbye, and was about to walk out the door, when Brody came running down the stairs yelling "Wait!  Wait!....I need to give him a hug!"  He gave Gavin the sweetest hug and was so sad to let him go.... That made my heart so happy.

Brody's Soccer Party

Brody's last soccer game was cancelled twice and then cancelled for good, because of rain.  But we still got to get together at the "Money Pit" in San Marcos for a PARTY!  He still had his hair done from crazy hair day:
Brody and his buddy Max

We were so lucky to get Coach Jimmy!  He was such a great coach and Brody had such a great time!
I'm so glad he had a great first year!  We will definitely be doing this again!
Go Pterodactyls!

CRAZY HAIR DAY!

 YEAH!!!!
Don't they look awesome?
Brody wanted spiky blue and red hair...
Cali wanted wild and crazy hair with suckers in it...
And Luke wanted a red mohawk with spikes on the sides...
NICE!
