Best Beach Baby

 This little girl loves the beach!  She loves to play in the sand (& eat it) and play in the water!  She makes Mondays at the Beach so easy!

And she loves her "Brobo"!

Papa's Present

We got Papa tickets to a Padre game for his birthday this year.  He's been wanting to go to a game ever since they moved back.  So, on Sunday the 15th of July, we went down to PetCo to see the Padres get killed by the Cubs.

 A fun day was had by all!  We need to do this again soon!

"Our Journey Home"

The same week that the boys headed to scout camp, Cali and I went to Girls Camp!

 No leaders were able to go from our ward, so I volunteered!

 It was up at Camp Wildwood and I was a cabin mom to the White Rockets.

 I loved being able to see her everyday.  It was her first year as a YCL.  And probably her last...

 Look at my cute bunk!  It was awful!

 My cabin was "special".  It was huge and there was a distinct separation.  Team A and Team B.  This is Team A - the "cool" side...

 The 2 groups had a hard time getting along, but when it came time to team up for activities, they pulled together.

 And this guy came up on Wednesday to help at zip line & the snow cone machine!  And it's a good thing he took a break when he did.  Because the zip line had a tree fall on it during the break.  Right where he was standing!  So, no more zip line for the rest of the year. Boo!

 Wednesday at camp was also 7/11.  I made sure our girls got their free slurpees during ward time.  

I was really sad and really jealous when he had to leave us that night!

Kathy is an awesome Camp Director and I had to get a pic of her in her skit outfit... 

 It was a fun and tiring week.  I liked being a cabin mom, but didn't love it.  Way too much drama.  But I sure love our girls!  Ward Time was my favorite time!  V10 Rocks!

BK turns 2!

On July 8th, we went over to the Kringle household to celebrate the 2nd birthday of the child I birthed!  I can't believe its been 2 years!  And its weird, because it feels as if it never happened.  And I think that is a good thing.  She is 100 % theirs.  I'm glad I feel detached.  But still grateful for the bond we have.

 Just look how loved she is by everybody!

The Cool Crew

Christian has been in town for a couple of weeks, staying at the McEwans.  We barely saw him because of Wilson family stuff, work, church and efy.  But we got in a night of family fun at Peppertree before he left.

We have grown quite fond of Sam & Kyle's family.  Sam is literally one of my all time favorite people.  So, when they needed a piano player for Josi's baptism, I happily volunteered.  And Josi was just stoked that her favorite babysitter got to be there too!

 And these kids were pretty excited about Cali's new truck!

Summer Lemonade Stand

 All the Millers are in town and they set up a lemonade stand.  So, of course, we headed over and spent way too much money on cookies and lemonade.

 So worth it, because we love them so much!

4th of July!

We celebrated America's Birthday, once again, at the Ranch!

 We played and ate ALL DAY!

 And the Woolf's came to join us for a bit!

 We introduced the Holbrook kids to fruit pizzas and they loved them!

 Zac set up a screen and projector out front.  We watched Spiderman Homecoming while fireworks blasted off in the distance.

I love this day.  I love this family.  I love my country!  Happy Birthday USA!
