"Mini Mission" ary

I finally got a pic!
So, 2 weeks ago, Gav was the first from our Stake to go on a Summer Mission.  It was only for a week with the zone leaders in Murrieta.  He had such a great time and couldn't stop talking about it all day when he got back.
This past Sunday, he was asked to share his testimony about his experience.  He shared that he flt the Spirit most strong when he was in homes teaching.  He also shared a really cool analogy that he thought of himself.  It goes kind of like this...
"The Gospel is like a pair of glasses.  The world can be so confusing...blurry.  You put on your Gospel glasses and everything becomes clear."
He made me cry.  I'm so glad he was able to go and serve and have this experience.

efy PART 2

They made it safely to Provo!
They are having so much fun!
And they got some Krispy Kreme...MMMMMM...

They also shut down the hotel pool last night.  I don't think Cali brought her suit.  But it looks like she managed to do something...
Today, the drove up to Salt Lake to go to Music and the Spoken Word at the Conference Center...

Then they were going to catch a Sacrament Mtg at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
I am so excited for her to have these experiences!
Its so cool that she gets to share them with her friends and the Bishop too!

Tiny Dancers 2k16

I was so scared I was going to miss this!
This week, BB and bbjr had their dance recitals.  On 2 different nights.  I wanted to be there so bad, but was afraid I might have the baby and miss the shows.
Thankfully, the baby decided to stay in my belly and I was able to go and cheer these girls on in their ballet and tap dances.  They make me so happy!

They both did amazing and I may have cried when they came out on stage in their ballet costumes...
This little bumblebee killed her tap number!  I am so glad they let me be a part of their lives!  I love them so much!
(DISCLAIMER:  I did NOT want my picture taken.  I am just too puffy to smile at this point!  But these girls wanted a pic with Miss Trisha and I can't refuse them!)

efy

Cali left this morning for her first efy!  I couldn't take her, so she was able to ride up with these guys with the Bishop and Karen chaperoning!

I'm so excited for her!  She is going to have such a great week!

Da Ranch

It was just me and these 2 home yesterday.  I needed to get out of the house.  So we headed to the Ranch for some swim fun!

FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!

Yesterday was June 20th, Summer Solstice!
It was like a 100 degrees in Vista, so I loaded the car with kids and we headed to the beach for the day!
It was a hot and crowded and fun day!
Joslin and Kerrisa are both in town, so they came down to play with us too...
We spent the whole day at our beach!  The cousins and some of the friends left around 3, but then the Bronsons and our FHE crew showed up for our traditional Monday night FHE.  It was a good one!  We didn't leave the beach until almost 9!
It was a very Happy First Day of Summer!

Fathers Day!!! Yay!

Saturday night, I got home late, couldn't sleep and almost slept through my 7AM alarm on Sunday morning.  But I hopped up, got these 3 up, and we headed downstairs to make Daddy his favorite breakfast...cinnamon french toast, bacon and hash browns.
 We gave him sweet cards...
 And showered him with gifts...
We were all so tired, but we made sure to make our daddy feel loved!
At Church, Jeremy was invited to Primary to participate in the "Dad" game.  He had to answer questions about Brody.

 And they WON!!!!
We spent the day being lazy.  Jeremy spent some time working in the yard.  He loves that!  And we made sure the house was stocked with the food and drinks he wanted.  Cali made him some cookies...
And then the best surprise ever...
 GAVIN CAME HOME!!!
He had been gone all week in Murrieta on his summer mission.  We had absolutely no contact with him the whole week and didn't even know when he would be home.  He surprised us by showing up around 4 PM.  Everyone was so happy to see him...especially Daisy!

I'm pretty sure it was the most special part of Jeremy's Fathers Day...

Jeremy made his own dinner.  But he wanted to!  He loves cooking up his famous Street Dogs.
After dinner, we hung out as a complete family for the first time in a week...

And finished off the day with "Monty Python; the Holy Grail".
I am constantly in awe of the man I married.  He makes me so happy!  Seeing him be the most amazing dad to my kids is the greatest feeling.  He loves his family so much...And we love him so much too!

My Daddy Date Night

Sunday was Fathers Day!  I like to spend the day celebrating my kids' daddy, so on Saturday night, I took my daddy out on a date!
We started the night with dinner at The Habit.
Then we went to the movies and saw XMen Apocalypse!
It was fun to just hang out, just the 2 of us.
I'm a lucky girl!

THE FAIR!!!

Cali's had a pretty awesome and busy summer so far.
Thursday night, she headed to the fair with her friend Valerie.

Then, the very next day, she got to go to the fair again, with Mia, Brody and the Bronsons.  I'm not in "fair" condition (get it???).  So, Kaci helped me out by taking my kids.

 They had a great day!
