Stormy Weather...

So, we got hit with our first "real" winter storm today. What better way to spend a cold, windy, rainy day (and also day off for kids and dad), than to head to the beach!



We went to Rockin' Baja Lobster for lunch (thanks Baja Rick) and then had some fun in the wind and rain!

Our last day of Annual Passes.....the kids had the day off of school, so it worked out great! We grabbed Gammy, and headed up and met up with Tracy, Daryl and the kids, early on. Then we met up with Becky and Adam and their girls for the rest of the day! It was lots of fun and we had awesome weather!

Middle School...

Last night, Gavin and I attended an informational meeting at High Tech Middle School North County. It is a charter Middle/High School in San Marcos that uses Technology and project-based learning. It sounds amazing. Gavin loved the meeting and met so many kids that have the same interests as him.
Of course, you have to apply to get in....so please keep your fingers crossed that he gets in! I think that he would really thrive at this place. We find out in March and will hopefully post good news then!

A "Surprise" Day...

Today I surprised the kids with a quick trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. We only have 1 week left of our annual passes, so we need to get in as much as we can! The kids had no idea and woke up this morning concerned, when mommy was still in bed. Gavin sent Brody up to tell me to get up. I told Brody that the kids weren't going to school today, because we were going to DISNEYLAND! His eyes lit up, and he went running to tell everyone what I said. They were so excited!

Ok-this is going to be our year! Jeremy and I decided-this is it! 2009, was not so hot! The first few days of this year have been a sign of good things to come! I've made some good resolutions so far, that I know I can make good on! And today, I got a new calling as the 1st Counselor in the Primary Presidency. I'm so excited to be back with the kids!
There are other things, that I don't really want to mention on here, that are on the horizon for the Wilson Family. I'm not sure of their outcome yet, so when they do pan out, I will post them! But I have a good feeling that these things will come to pass, because THIS IS OUR YEAR BABY!

A Very Special Day...

Yesterday, January 2, 2010, Cali was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was so excited! Her daddy got to baptize her and I was so proud of her and amazed at her understanding of how important this day was. It was a very nice program. Her Papas gave the prayers and her Uncle Gavin and Cousin Sarah gave great talks. What made it even more special, was that she got to share the day with her BFF/Cousin Chloe (aka Chlozone). Lots of family and friends were able to be there and share in her special day! Congratulations Cali - We Love You!

We had a great Family New Years! Our Nephew Shane turned 4 on New Years Eve. So we started the afternoon with a trip to the bowling alley. We even managed to throw some kids in the excursion, and my brother Mark took those kids to the dirt lot behind Legoland to get in some fireworks for Shaney! Then it was back to our house for the PARTAY! Happy New Year Everyone!

Cali's Christmas present...

For Christmas, we got Cali 2 tickets to see "Mary Poppins" the musical in LA. So on Wed night (12/30), daddy took his little girl to see the show! They had a great time and LOVED it!
