One of those days you just cherish...

It was like 90+ degrees today...so after my morning chores, I loaded Brody into the car and WE WENT TO THE BEACH!  It was GORGEOUS!  It was so fun, just the 2 of us.  We ate lunch, played in the sand, danced, built a sand castle, tore it down, and then played on the playground.  We were only there for 2 hours, but it was so much fun.  We talked a lot and I wish I could have wrote down our conversations.  He says the funniest things. 

We had to leave and get the big kids from school and he asked if we could come again tomorrow.  He told me he had fun with me at the beach and thanked me for taking him.  I'll miss these days of just me and him when he's a big kindergartner...

WF Outrigger Races 2011

We returned to Mission Bay for Wells Fargo's/Bridgepoint Education's Holiday Bowl Outrigger Event and Luau (whew..that's a long name!).
This year our team name was "Rock n Row".  Our team didn't look like much, but we did better than any other WF team, because we had experience!  We placed 3rd in both our heats (3 out 5...not bad!).

Movie Review...

Wait for RedBox...

It was cute.  Sweet Story.  But, not authentic enough for Jeremy.  Only one character actually spoke Portuguese.  The animation was really pretty though and the kids liked it just fine.  I liked the music.

He was so excited and started the morning with pictures from Cordy, Ady & Clover.

Then-it was time for 5 1/2 Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast!

 We had a nice family-fun-filled day!  Nana & Papa were down and we spent the day with them.

Daisy's (second) Bath

Yeah...I didn't get pix of her first bath, because Jeremy and the kids did it while I was in the shower (last week). So, today I captured it.

She LOVES her baths.  She is a true lady.  She loves to be pampered.
