So Long Sister Andrus...

Oh Man!  The Dream Team has been split  up....its so sad!  These 2 are by far the most amazing missionaries I have ever met!  Sister Andrus has been transferred though....and so we had one last party with them before she left for the Palomar Singles Ward (that's Scrac's ward!).  Luckily, we get to keep Halling and I know that we will be reunited with Andrus again someday!  (Maybe she'll marry Scrac???)

Brody's Special Day!

Yes...its that time again!  Whenever we have annual passes, each kid gets their own special day at Disneyland with mom!  September was Brody's month and he was sooooo excited.  We went on a Monday and he couldn't stop talking about it all weekend before and was so excited when the day finally arrived.  He did go to school in the morning and then mommy picked him up around 10:30.  The first thing he wanted to do was get a fast pass for Star Tours.  So, we did and then he wanted to ride his favorite ride, the Matterhorn.  We got to the Matterhorn and it was closed.  He was soooooo sad.  I got him some frozen lemonade to cheer him up and then we went on Finding Nemo until it was time to head over to Star Tours to use our fast passes.  And look who we ran into on the way to Star Tours-

After our ride, we headed to Star Trader and he wanted to create his own droid.  He still had a $50 gift card from his birthday, so we put it to good use!
 Introducing, "Indiana Droid".
I let him plan the whole day and he wanted to have lunch at "that place in Pirates of the Caribbean."  He was so excited to have lunch at the Blue Bayou!

He LOVED his mac n cheese and the Louisiana Lemonade.  But the glow ice cube was his favorite!
He was so happy and grateful!  He kept telling me all day that I was "the best mommy in the whole world".
I really enjoy these 1 on 1 days, because I got to talk to him.  We had the best conversations and he is such a goofball-
He really wanted to check out the Haunted Mansion, Nightmare Before Christmas-style, but BOTH times we tried to go on, it broke down!
We made our way back over to see if the Matterhorn was open and IT WAS!!!  He was so happy and I loved listening to him yell all through the ride!
On the Storybook Land ride, he got to be the whale watcher-

And the kid loves all photo opps!

The park closed at 8 and we got in some last minute shopping...some vader mickey ears and a mickey light up toy!

He wanted to ride the train through the Dinosaurs and Grand Canyon for his last ride.  It was such a fun day and I had the most amazing time playing with my Baby!  I love these special days and my Brody Bear!

Middle School Crazy Hair Day!

It was actually Crazy Hat/Hair Day.  And  I have been so busy, I couldn't help out, so she took matters into her own hands and created this masterpiece.  She made the cup person hat and made sure the hat had a hat!  I did put it the red and blue gel and made the crazy buns!
I LOVE that she loves to have so much fun!  I wonder where she gets it???

Big Night for the Bug

A couple of weeks ago, Gav attended his first Sweet Sixteen Party....he got all dressed up for a murder-mystery party for Claire Haderlie and had a great time.
I had to pick him up early from the party, to take him to the church for a Court of Honor.  He was finally getting his Star!

So proud of him and love him so much!
Then we raced home and he changed back into his fancy clothes and I drove him to his first Stake Dance!!!  He came home all sweaty (which means, he danced!) and told us all about all the fun he had.  My Bug is Big...yep Big.

Return to RBV...

Sarah is a Senior and is the Drum Major for the band.  We wanted to see her do her stuff, so Jeremy and I went to a home game to see her lead the band!

She is so AWESOME!

WeBeLoyalScouts

2 weeks ago, Luke got his Webelo Badge!
Here he is leading his first flag ceremony...
Here's the crew w/ Sister Harris-
Movin' up the ladder!  Next stop - Arrow of Light!

A Good Day for Soccer!

The Soccer Season is in full swing and the kids are loving it!  Luke's team is pretty amazing and has only lost 1 game.  But both Brody and Cali started the season with losses.  That was until 2 weeks ago!  Brody's team got their first win and he was awarded "Phenomenal Defender" MVP.
Luke was so proud!
Cali's team played their little hearts our and got their first win too!  They were so happy!

And congrats to Mia (Felipe) for scoring her first goal and it was also the GAME WINNING GOAL!!!
