Dreams really do come true...

Friday was my first, kind of, day off this year!  I had a 2 hour window between my dr. appt. and picking up the kids from school.  I was supposed to get my car's oil changed...BUT...it was such a pretty day AND I was in Oceanside AND I just happened to have my bathing suit, towel and chair....

So, I had a "Me Party" at the harbor!  It was wonderful!  And it was so hot, I even went for a nice swim.  I hope I can have some more of these soon...

SARAH on TV!

Sarah is at BYU...we really miss her.

She tried out for the BYU Symphony and made it!  Woo Hoo!  She will get to travel to far away places next semester too!  Last Wednesday night was her first performance.  It was live-streamed.  So, of course we made signs and popcorn and sat down to cheer our Sarah Boop on!  

Box of Awesomeness

The original Box of Awesomeness had an honorable send-off when Gavin and his friends pushed Luke down the stairs in it and it exploded on impact.  So, last week, Brody found a new Box of Awesomeness in the Recycle bin, thanks to Cali's new comforter set.  Oh the fun!

A Heart Happy Moment...

Cotillion

So, 2 weeks ago, I get an email from Gav.  Attached to the email is an invite from the San Dieguito Cotillion.  The girl he likes is doing it and she told him that the High School age group needed more guys.  So, I checked out the website and realized that this could actually be a great opportunity for him.  I got him all registered and last Saturday night, he got all dressed up, and we dropped him off at the Mission Tower at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.  He said he had fun, but that he "sucked" at the dancing.  Cotillion season goes until May.  I'm kind of excited to see how this goes.  Doesn't he look handsome???

The last one

Brody's practice got cancelled, so we hurried and grabbed some food and ran down for our last Beach FHE of the year.  Can't wait to do it again next year!
