We got our tree!!!

Gosh!  Its already the 11th and we just got the tree last night!  It finally feels like Christmas.  Jeremy really just wanted to head down to Wal-Mart and get a tree.  But these kids love our tradition of cutting down the Christmas Tree.  So, last night, we made the long drive to Santee, to Family Christmas Tree Farm, and tried to find the perfect tree.  The selection was not as awesome as we wanted.  Most of the trees had been taken.  We spent a long time looking and decided on this cute little thing...

They all took their turn chopping and then carried it to the shaker.  We got it netted and Daddy did a great job tying it to the top of the car.
It was cold, late and we were tired.  But we love this tradition.  And I love listening to "The Team" laugh and talk as they watch Christmas movies, as we make the drive.
 Merry Christmas!  Ha!

Can.Not.Wait!!!

We got our invite this week!!!!
This girl....She is getting her "Happily Ever After" and I am so excited about it!  She is marrying a wonderful guy in the most wonderful place.  And I get to be there :-).  Cali and I will be flying out to celebrate this happy event.

No more Tomatoes????

For the past few weeks, Cali has been breaking our in hives, her face and eyes have been swelling up and then on Sunday, her throat started to swell up too.  We noticed that these events seem to happen within hours of eating tomatoes.  Ugh!  Her favorite!  We had to go to Urgent Care, where they gave her some steroids for the swelling and prescribed an epi pen.  Then on Tuesday, we saw the allergist.  She has to have blood work done to hopefully determine what is really causing the allergic reactions.  I hope they find out.  And we hope its not tomatoes...

Hanley came to visit

Jeremy got to go to Mexico last weekend for a surf trip.  The kids and I had a fun weekend and were just finishing up the First Presidency Christmas Devotional when we heard the doorbell.  It was Sister Hanley!  She was down for the weekend and came to see us.  She's pretty cool and it was fun to visit with her!  We love (and miss) our sister missionaries.

#CassieandMatt

Saturday, we made the drive up to Murrieta to a beautiful Horse Park to celebrate the marriage of Cassie Taylor and Matt Dobbins.  It was so nice and fun and casual!  We love this family!

 2 words - Food Truck!!!

 Aren't they adorable???
We had so much fun with our buddies!

Congrats and Forever Happiness to these 2!

Might be the best thing ever...

Mama hasn't been feeling her best.  So Dad, had a meeting with kids and they put this together...
They won't let me lift a finger to help.  I kind of like it!

Pray...

Last week, we experienced the worst terrorist attack in the US since 9/11.  A married couple, dropped their 6 month old baby girl off at their mother's, then went to a work holiday party and shot 38 people.  14 killed, 21 wounded.  They were inspired by Jihadists, ISIS.  It happened in San Bernardino at a County Facility.  The media goes crazy with politics, blame, gun control....
What it comes down to, is the people.  These people wanted to kill people.  The world doesn't need all the arguing, fighting, blaming, craziness.  The world needs more love.  At least, that is what I think.  I just pray.  Pray every day.  A newspaper in New York put down those who pray.  Saying "God Isn't Fixing This".  Of course He's not.  That's not his job.  But He can help Us fix this.
