HTeNC Spring Exhibition

Brody's exhibition was so awesome!  They concentrated on how civilizations are created, independence is achieved, how governments are formed and how laws are created and passed.  They started in colonial times and ended with a colony on Mars in the future!
They got to go on a field trip and do a Revolutionary War Re-Enactment.
 They planted a garden...

Created a math quilt representing fractions...

They discussed issues and laws that we are faced with today...

Then we took a trip to the future to see their Mars colony...

Brody's group built and programmed an all terrain rover!

We learned all about how to take care of yourself on the red planet...

 Aquaponics-

 Mars Selfie!!!
And we couldn't pass up the Colonial Photo Booth!

It was literally my favorite exhibition ever!  They all did such a great job!

Graham Weekend

We got to have this little nugget back with us while his parents (and twin baby sisters...coming in June), were in Kauai!
We had so much fun playing with him all weekend!

Go Redskins!

March 17th was St. Patrick's Day and I did absolutely nothing to celebrate the day.  Well, I did get cookies and I did dye lemonade green.  I also made an irish stew for dinner.  But, other than that, nothing!  That night it was the first game of NFL Flag!  And Brody is on the Redskins!
He was so excited to get playing and so ready for some football!  Me too!

He had 2 carries, scored an extra point and got a flag!
They beat the Ravens 42-19!
Great first game!
And we celebrated the night with Shamrock Shakes from McD's on the way home!
And I got a Chocolate Shamrock Shake and it was amazing!
Lo and Begorra...'tis a fine day indeed!

Beauty and the Beast - FINALLY!

We have been waiting a couple years for this one!  And it did NOT disappoint.  I got us great seats on premiere night!  Disney did an excellent job on this remake and it was beautiful in every way.  The casting was perfect and the songs stayed true to the animated film.  We loved every minute of it!  Even Jeremy, who did NOT want to go see it, said..."that was not just a great remake, but a great movie.  Maybe one of the best movies I've ever seen."
