Trunk R Treat!

So, I was put in charge of the annual Ward Halloween Party.  I did not want to be in charge!  But, I agreed, as long as I could put other people in charge!  So, that's what I did.  I headed up the chili and food sign ups.  Primary took over the desssert assignment and a cupcake walk.  EQ put together a spectacular spook alley.  The YM & YW set up the tables and decorated them.  The HP Group was put in charge of the contests.  I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best!  5th ward got in touch with me and begged to let them decorate for their party that was happening the next day.  I totally agreed and we benefitted from their awesome wall decorations!  So here it is- the cultural hall - just before the party started!

I had to get to the church early, so Jer was at home and in charge of helping the kids and himself get ready.  He was our MC of the night.  "Bob the Burger King of Hearts"!-
#3 and #4 - Death Trooper and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man-
Luke won a cupcake in the cake walk and the award for Funniest Costume!

VUSD Festival of the Arts

Luke's Steel Drum class got to perform at the school district's Arts Festival!  He once again, blew us away with his new talent!

And this time, Gammy was able to  come too!
And Gammy decided to try out the steel pans and got a little too excited...

 And she got totally busted!

Park Day Goes to the Pumpkin Patch!

Have I mentioned that we have the best Park Day Group?  We have dubbed ourselves the Park Day Posse!  So many moms with kids from the ward meet up at a different park every Monday.  It is seriously one of my favorite days of the week!
But, for Halloween, we decided to take our group to the Pumpkin Patch!  And we all had such a great time!

It was a great success, followed by lunch at Chick fil A and visiting Gav!
