El Guapo meets the cousins!

 Like I said, we became pretty popular once we got this guy.  The days following Thanksgiving were filled with visitors!

Thanksgiving 2020

 Thanksgiving was just great this year!  With everything going on, I didn't have everything together like I usually do, but we were able to pull off a fun day any way!

Cali made a sign for El Guapo's casa!

Jeremy grilled his famous bacon wrapped turkey...

And some of our favorites came over to join us!

Even my Uncle Josh came!

We ate around 3 and all of the food was delicious!

I am so thankful for all of these people, the love we share and the fun times we get to have together!  So blessed!

 Happy Birthday Gavin!

Covid has put restrictions on all of our celebrations this year.  But it was so nice to just have our family here together to celebrate the day!

We got in n out and he played video games.

He got some fun gifts from everyone and then we had a bundt cake for dessert!

Meet El Guapo Bandito

 Once again, Blogger is putting my pics in reverse order!!!  It is driving me crazy!  And it would take me too long to insert each pic separately.  So...

Anyway-

We have been looking to adopt a dog for months.  I had been on many rescue email lists and we had been calling on numerous dogs on Craigslist.  We even went to LA to meet one and were so sure it was going to happen and then the people changed their minds.  Ugh!

Then Jeremy got a text from a guy that he had texted months earlier and asked if we were interested in a silky cocker puppy.  Rule #1 for me is NO PUPPIES!

But we went to to look at him and BAM!  I could not say no to that face and we came home with his perfect little guy.

Affectionately named, El Guapo Bandito!  It was a group effort.

We were very popular that week!  Everyone wanted to come over and meet him!  And Cali was so happy to meet him when she got home the day before Thanksgiving.  He's been a dream!  Literally!  And he is totally healthy.  The vet said that he is probably not a true cocker/maltise mix, but he is dang cute!  And we love him so much!

Late Lunch

 October was a crazy month!  And my mom was out of town with friends on her birthday, so we got together on a Friday in November to celebrate!

We went to Mary's for a late breakfast and took a nice walk to and from her condo.  It was quick because I had to pick up the boys from school, but it was fun to make it happen.  Happy Late Birthday Mom!
