He Did it!

 Brody has saved up all of his money for the past year and finally had enough to buy his own gaming laptop.  He is stoked!

Wednesday Hike with Maya

 Oh how I have missed this woman!

We have not seen each other in almost a year!  And we finally met up on a Wednesday afternoon and went for a hike!  It was glorious!

El Guapo loves the Beach!

 We have been taking El Guapo on walks at the beach when Brody finishes school for the day.

Dogs are not allowed on the sand, but we let him off real quick when no one is watching.  He loves running and digging in the sand.

And I love getting out of the house and breathing in the salt air!

Shaney and Joel

 Joel is 11 and Shane turned 15 in December.  So, we all met at Tracy's to see Joel recieve the Aaronic Priesthood and be ordained to the office of Deacon.  Then the guys ordained Shane a Priest!  Crazy!  It was fun to all be together.

Cali's last night

 The night before Cali returned to Utah, we met up with our favorite girls for a nice walk on the beach...

I'm glad we made this happen.  Cali was a little sad that she barely got to see them over the break.  It was a nice way to end her trip home.

Missing Disney

 Before the boys started school back up, and before Cali headed back to Utah, I decided to take them all up for Disney afternoon.  The lockdown restrictions were a downer!  All of the restaurants were closed!  And no food or beverage was to be consumed on the property!  So stupid!

But we were able to browse through som shops and see some of CA adventure and take pics at places we miss so much...

We waited in a really long line to get into the Star Wars Trading Post.  But Luke had brought money and wanted to purchase a legacy saber.

After trying all of them, he left with an Obi Wan Legacy Lightsaber.  He was stoked!

It certainly was missins alot of the magic.  But I love watching my kids hang out and enjoy each others' company.  They each got a treat as we left and ate it in the car.

Hopefully next time we are here, the parks will be open.

Happy New Year!

We woke up to a beautiful day on January 1st.  So we decided to start the year off right and get outside and enjoy it!

We found a fun little hike in Carlsbad.

Everyone loved it!  Especially El Guapo!  His first hike!

We raced home to watch:

So, I guess some Tik Tok users got together and wrote a musical for Ratatouille.  They enlisted the help of some Broadway actors and it aired on Jan 1st.  It was actually really cute and I was so impressed with how they pulled this off.

It was a great family day and a great way to start the new year!
