Ok.
Back in February, I joined a group called "Parent Association". A group of parents who want our kids back in school! Lawyers were hired, parents told stories of the negative effects on their children and we sued the state! AND WE WON!!
The judgement came down on 3/19 stating that schools must open to in-person learning in the state. BUT, it is still up to the individual districts to decide when and how long.
We went to work emailing and calling the district and at a special meeting held on 3/23, our board voted unanimously to opend full time to Classic Students!
My boys cheered!
We are really blessed to have superintendent that wanted kids in school who wanted to be. And 3 out of 5 members who felt the same. We had to threaten recall on the other 2, but it worked! Woo hoo!
