Beyond Van Gogh

Tuesday, March 15 th

I took Cali to see the traveling Van Gogh Exhibit Experience in Del Mar called, "Beyond Van Gogh". It was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The paintings would appear and switch in the most beautiful images and they had peaceful music playing. We loved it!

At-Home MTC

Luke started his first day of At-Home MTC on Monday March14th. I barely saw him all day, but when he finally came down, he said "the worst thing that could ever happen to me, happened today!" I was so scared at what he was going to say. So I asked, "What?" and he said, "I had to create a Facebook account!" Haha! He had a great day. He spent much of the next 2 weeks in his room and really loved it!

Luke's Farewell

Luke gave the most honest, real and powerful farewell talk I have ever heard. He was up so late the night before working on it, not sure what to say. He was so stressed the morning of and we were almost late to church, because he forgot to email the talk to himself. Luckily, Jer ran home and got it emailed in time. I was so worried about him, but he got up there and just blew everyone away. I was so proud of him.

After church, Meish put on a special "Good Luck Luke" luncheon-

That night, we all went to the Stake Center and got to be with him while President Greenwood set him apart as a missionary. It was pretty special. My favorite part, was when we all got a chance to tell him why we think he will be a good missionary. It was very emotional.
