My Bug's Special Day

SURPRISE!!!
This morning, Gavin had his first SLC of the year and did a great job.  His teachers had only nice things to say about him.  When we were finished, he asked for his lunch money and I told him he didn't need it because I was taking him to DISNEYLAND!  Yep, it was his turn for his special day!  He was so excited!
Here are some of the highlights of our day:
His first time seeing it!  His review:  " A combo of Labyrinth, Star Wars and a weird MJ music video".

His prize:  His own homemade lightsaber

Me hangin' w/ a trooper while waiting for Star Tours

Thunder Mountain!!! Yeah!

Taking a Dole Pineapple Ice Cream Break

 We got wet...

SOAKED!!!!

Mmmmm....turkey leg!

His prize-Timothy Mouse-from the Boardwalk Games
I have to share that this will probably be my last one-on-one day with Gav.  I got a little teary-eyed as we left for the day.  He will be 13 next week...and I don't know if I'm cool enough to hang out with anymore.  We had such a great day together.  I loved every minute!  BUT-he wouldn't hold my hand....he wouldn't sit with me on some of the rides...and some of the things I suggest we do, he said were for little kids... (sniff, sniff).  I know...I'm a whiner!  But I love this kid-dangit!  I'm glad we had such a fun day together!

Happy Birthday Dinner for Nana

Today was my MIL's Birthday!  She didn't want a party...so we had a dinner!
She wanted a Thanksgiving feast...so that's what she got!
Meish and Zac came...
And so did Jimmy and Whitney.  Next time we see these two, they will be parents!
Meish made her yummy pineapple upside down cake...
And we made Nana wear a funny hat and we had horns to blow!

We had such a fun time (as always)...and we love our Nana/Mom sooooo much!  We even got to skype with Becky and Michael!
 Happy Birthday!!!

'The Hills are Alive...'

Last night, I got to get dressed up with my Angel and we went to see Emily and Allison Brown in Coast Kids' Production of "The Sound of Music".  Jeremy thought we looked cute and took these pictures of us.  I love having these special nights with my little girl!

49er Faithful

It's good to be a 49er fan right now!  They are 7-1!!
And I love how the kids get just as excited about it as I do.
Here's the dynamic duo showing their team pride (while in their bath robes), this morning during the 49er v. Redskins game:
Oh Yeah!

Vista Stake FFMA

Last night our Stake put on a Fall Festival of Music & Art.  There was a beautiful chorale performance by the San Diego Mormon Choir and Youth Choir.  Then they opened up the cultural hall and had displays set up from each ward.  Our Primary had a display and Cali, Luke and Brody all submitted art work.

TeamParty!!!

The Bobcats season is (almost) over!  Yesterday was supposed to be the last playoff game, but the fields were too wet from the rain.  We went ahead and had the end of the year party anyway!  It was at (Asst) Coach Shanyn's house-in her amazing backyard!  The girls each got a special certificate and a medal:
Thanks Coach Daddy!
And lots of hugs and presents!
Thanks Coach Shanyn!

It got nice and warm in the afternoon and everyone went swimming!  We ended the day with some yummy soccer cupcakes:
It was such a great season and such a fun team!
Go Bobcats!

The 600 Club

 *****WARNING:  BRAG ALERT*****
Yesterday, Jeremy and I (&the Bronson girls)-attended an award ceremony at the school.  Cali received an award for her PERFECT SCORE ON THE MATH CST = A PERFECT 600!
There were 5 kids that received awards as part of 'The 600 Club'.  (That's what the principal called it!)

Here's our smart little Angel with her Award and Gift Certificates to Jamba Juice and Islands.
We are so proud of her!  Way to go Cali!
