TAYLOR SWIFT 1989 WORLD TOUR

Saturday August 29th, I hopped in the car with these 2 and we headed down to San Diego to FINALLY use Cali's Birthday present.....Tickets to Taylor Swift at Petco Park!
We left nice and early and parked at Horton Plaza.  We grabbed dinner at Nordstrom Cafe-

and then headed to the stadium.  We got side-tracked and had to grab treats at Ghiradelli-

I love that Cali wore her lightsaber skirt with her concert shirt...She got so many compliments!

Our seats were not even close to close.  But that's ok.  I knew we would be far up, because I'm not made out of money and those tickets were not cheap!  I even bought them in the pre-sale back in November!  But these girls were just happy to be there!  And we had a great view of everything!

As we got ready for the show to start, guess who ended up sitting in the row in front of us?

The Opening Acts were Shawn Mendes and Vance Joy-

Then...it was show time!

 The Catwalk moved!!!
She likes to bring out special guests at her concerts.  The first one was Omi?...I think I spelled that right?  He sings a song called "Cheerleader".  I was not impressed.  But later on, she brought out Avril Levigne and we all sang along to "Complicated".

It was such a fun show!  She ended it with "Shake it Off" and everyone went crazy!  Cali loved every minute!  Happy Birthday Angel!

Movin on up

The last week of August, Troop 788 had their Court of Honor.  Luke actually got his Tenderfoot AND 2nd Class, but they forgot to get his 2nd Class.  He was kind of bummed.  But it's coming and he is really enjoying scouting.  I'm so proud of him and all he has accomplished!

The Boys are Back!

The boys went back to school yesterday.  Jeremy was able to give Cali her Fathers Blessing the night before she started.  And a broken leg was not going to stop him from giving his boys their blessings.  All of them were so great.  Once again, I am so grateful for the Priesthood and that it is in our home.
 So here they are-
4th Grade
 11th Grade
 7th Grade
They all had a great first day.  Luke and Gavin have teachers and advisors that they love.  Brody's teacher is new, but seems really nice. She called me today just to let me know how impressed she is with Brody already.  Fingers Crossed this is a good year!

Scrac turns 30!

Saturday wasn't busy enough with a laid up hubby, soccer games and school shopping...we decided to throw Zac a birthday party at our house!  I ran and got some food, presents and made some last minute decorations...like this hat-
Ben and Meish came over and made a yummy BBQ chicken taco dinner.
Party People!!
I came up with the a last minute game...
 "Pin the Mustache on Scrac!"-

 Best Game Ever!
Meish brought a TMNT pinata and we took it outside to destroy it!

The birthday boy busted the candy out!
 I made a cake-

And then we gave him our presents!

I was so exhausted, but so glad we made Zac's birthday special.  Now we just need to find him a wife...
