They Did It!

These 2!!
They saved and saved and saved all year and put their money together to purchase a Nintendo Switch Super Smash Bros Ultimate Edition!  They are stoked!  And I'm so proud of them and happy I didn't have to buy it!

She's 2!

This little nugget was with me on her 2nd Birthday!  We celebrated with "Frozen" Mac n Cheese for lunch...
 And Unicorn cupcakes for dessert!

We love having this sweet monster pirate baby in our lives!  Happy Birthday Hailee Rose!

Family Day at Knotts!

I had the whole first week of January off!  We were going to go to Utah, but it ended up snowing like crazy there and we didn't want to drive in it.  We decided to stay home and do stuff as a family.  Gav had to work most of the days, but on his day off, we grabbed his girlfriend, Kristen, and headed to Knotts Berry Farm!

We had such a fun day!  I love this place!

We spotted Robin Thicke-  (TMZ moment)

It was crowded & freezing, but it was so much fun to play together as a family all day!

Welcome 2019!

Happy New Year!
Oh Man!  I ended up sleeping in until like 9 or 10.  Missing the live telecast of the Cord and Tish's Rose Parade coverage.  Luckily, YouTube saved the day and we got to watch the whole thing.  I love watching the parade this way.  They are so funny!
My Mom, Dad and Mark came over in the morning for a little visit.  It was good to see Mark, even though he looked awful.  This divorce is taking a toll on him and he was starting to re-think his choices.  I hope he can figure things out and fix his family.
Anyways...we had a nice chill New Years Day!  Jer and I took our annual "Look we got engaged on this day..." pic-

Then we headed to the Ranch with the family to ring in the New Year!

Bring on 2019!

New Years Eve!

So, this year, it was a little different and not planned very well.  We didn't plan anything as a family, because I thought the kids were making plans with friends.  It ended up they didn't and we made plans with our friends.  So Jer and I went over to the Fellars' for a food and game night.  But they wanted to end at 9:00 PM.  LAME!  So we joined the Miller/Bronson crew over at the Compound for a real party!  Except that Ben & Meish ended up asking the kids to babysit last minute and they were really bummed.  Hailee wasn't cooperating and wouldn't go to sleep.  Cali wasn't feeling well, so I ended up grabbing Hailee and bringing her to the Party.  While everyone was having fun playing Bunko, I was in the guest house trying to get her to sleep.  She fell asleep just after midnight!  I missed the countdown!  But I managed to get over in time for the annual group pic!

2018 was a doozy!  Not the best, not the worst.  Kind of like this NYE celebration.  But we always manage to make the best out of everything!  Hoping we can do that with 2019 too!
Happy New Year!

Dancing Queen....only 17...

That's the song blaring through our house on Cali's birthday!
Yep, she's officially 17!
Her morning started with breakfast burritos made by Gammy!
And she was so happy because it was cold and rainy!!!
Gammy and Papa not only brought over breakfast, but some birthday gifts too!
Later on that morning, after wall got ready for the day, she got to open her gifts from her family...

A "Newsies" journal and hat from Gav...
 Canvases and paints from Brody...
 Whale jammies from Luke...

Some books from mom and dad...

And her used beach towel with a little "whale" note letting her know that she gets to go swim with Beluga Whales!!!
 She was so stoked!
 Happy Birthday Angel!

 We love you!
Because Dinner was at our house this year, she got to pick what we had.  It was a Pasta Fest!
And she got to spend the evening with some of her favorite people...
And got her favorite birthday dessert - Chocolate Silk Pie!

2 days later, I picked up Mia and took the girls to Sea World.  Cali's dream of swimming with the Beluga whales was going to come true!
 But first, we played!

At 2:00 PM, we checked into the Interaction!!!
Cali got to go back and change, while Mia and I ran into the exhibit and grabbed the best viewing seats!  After she got her wetsuit on and got her instructions, they came out to meet "Klondike" and  "Ahua"!  She had a big smile on her face the entire time!  It was so fun to watch!

This was after she just got splashed!

It was the coolest thing ever!  She was so happy!  I'm so glad we could make this happen for her!

17 is going to be AWESOME!
