Moonlight

 Saturday, July 3rd-
To thank Cali for taking care of the boys AGAIN, while we were away, I treated her to "Once on this Island" at the Moonlight.  I had never heard of this musical before.  It was a little different and the story was a little sad, but it was beautiful.  I loved it.  And I loved seeing it with my girl!

Grown Up Cabo Trip

 Sunday June 26, 2021

I arrived home late Saturday night from driving home from Utah, packed my bag and we were up EARLY Sunday morning.  The Bronsons picked us up and we headed to the CBX at the US/Mexico border.  That place is so cool and it makes taking a flight to Mexico from TJ so easy and cheap!  We were so excited to take our first "friend" vacation to Cabo San Lucas!

Welcome to Sirena Del Mar, Los Cabos, BCS, Mexico
Our resort was beautiful and our rooms were amazing and had the most awesome views!  We jumped right into vacation mode.
After a couple of hours lounging and the pool, we had our first meal at the hotel.  I had delicious sea bass and Jeremy had a bowl of meat (it has a name, but I can't remember it!)

It was a magical first day and we couldn't wait for the rest of the week!

MONDAY-
Good Morning!

This.  This is what we did ALL day.  Read, swam and drank all the mocktails we wanted!

That night, we attended the Fiesta at the Resort.  Dinner and dancing and some awkward entertainment from some of the guests.

The food was ok, not excellent, but ok.  But we sure had fun watching the show and all the weird people!
Then it was chilling by the fire and games before bed.

TUESDAY-
Woke up to this...
Then we headed into town-
A big hurricane was supposed to hit, but it got downgraded to a tropical storm, then it sprinkled for like 5 minutes.  Lucky us!
After a couple hours of shopping and eating, we returned to our hotel and had ourselves a couples massage.  And this was the view...

After our massages, we went and checked out the beach at our resort...

We returned to town for dinner.  Only, the place we wanted to eat at was all booked up.  So we ended up at this crazy bar.  But the view was nice-
We waited way too long for our mediocre food, but Brian's entree was worth it!  Seafood Feast!

WEDNESDAY:
Today was all about adventure!
We booked a quad tour through the hills and along the beach.

Our group was big and totally slow.  So, the guy asked if we wanted to go off on our own for an extra fee.  So, we did!  We were cruising along, having the best time, and then, Brian crashed!
Luckily, he didn't get too damaged and neither did the quad.  So, we continued to the beach and finished our tour with no one else getting hurt!  Phew!  It was so much fun!

One of our friends from the resort recommended a ceviche place in town, so we went there after and had some delicious ceviche and we were served this, as well-
Shrimp Soup?  It was disgusting!
We went back to the hotel and took a nice nap.  Then we got all cleaned up and headed to the hills for a wonderful dinner at Flora's Farm!

We love this place!
And the food is exquisite!  I don't usually use that word, but that is the word to describe every part of this place!

Even the bathrooms!
Kaci and I walked the grounds while they prepared our food...

And we got fancy drinks!
It was all amazing!

That night, I got totally sick.  Pretty sure it was from the ceviche place.  I was up all night in the bathroom.  No fun.

THURSDAY
Recovery day.
I finally took some immodium in the morning.  Then I slept until like noon.  I still felt sick, so I took my pillow down to the pool and slept here all day.  I loved my "pool pillow".
I woke up feeling so much better in the afternoon and got to enjoy some sunshine and this guy!
That night, we had dinner at this really pretty restaurant near our hotel.  We got a nice sunset view.

The food was meh, but I only had a salad, because I still wasn't feeling 100%.  They had these really pretty lamps though, so we got pics!

FRIDAY
Last Day.  Boat Day.
We woke up and took one last look at our view.  Then we had to pack and say goodbye to Sirena Del Mar.  We loved it here!
But we soon cheered up when we boarded our snorkel/lunch cruise!
We got up close to the arch...

And we spent the afternoon relaxing on the boat, saw some pretty fishies while snorkeling and enjoyed a delicious lunch.  We also danced a little bit too!
We had some time before we had to start heading to the airport, so we went back to the hotel to get our luggage and they gave us a room to change in.  We got in some more pool time and then went to the room and got all clean and fresh for the journey home.
We stopped in San Jose Del Cabo for dinner, before our flight.
One last dinner and one last pic.
This was such a fun trip!  We loved playing with our friends and making such rad memories.  Can't wait for the next Grown Up Vacation!
