So, Jackie texted us to let us know that they would be in Vegas for Justin's volleyball tournament and that her and Josh were going to renew their vows and have Elvis do it. She casually mentioned that we could show up and be bridesmaids if we weren't busy. Ha! Vicky, Yvonne and I immediately booked our flights and hotel and then let her know that we were coming and we hoped that it was ok!!
We went straight into planning mode. Not only did we book our trip, but we began putting together gifts and coordinating our dresses with the other invited guests. Then, on Tuesday, June 28th, we hopped on our plane and headed to Vegas! Vicky and I flew together and roomed together. We stayed at the fancy Wynn hotel.
After check in, we met up with everyone in one of the bars. It is such a pretty hotel and we were so happy to be reunited!
And we got to meet Michelle and Daken! JP came too!
We had a blast hanging out, but luckily, I was with Vicky and she gets a pass because she's recovering from Cancer, so we get to head to bed early AND sleep in!
We spent Wednesday down at the pool in a deluxe cabana! It was glorious & HOT!
Again, we left the party early and went and took naps in our comfy beds and A/C. Then it was time to get ready for the big wedding night!
We had the same shoes!
And because they are celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary, we had to be in silver dresses!
Then we met up with everyone in Jackie's suite for the pre-party and to give them their gifts!
Jackie was getting all glammed up like Priscilla Presley-
And this is when we got to meet Sandy and all the bridesmaids are complete!
And then the Packs were ready!
Don't they look amazing!?!
And they loved their gifts!
Time to head to the chapel!
Party Bus to the chapel for the wedding of the year!
We got to the Little Vegas Chapel and did a photo shoot-
Then we witnessed the most fun and touching ceremony I have ever witnessed. Justin and Keiran walked Jackie down the aisle and Elvis did such an amazing job officiating the ceremony. I cried.
And then we spent the rest of the night celebrating!
After we hit up the friendliest little dive bar, we party bussed back to the Wynn for dinner and Night Club dancing. Oh! And my bag got flagged for drugs, because of my migraine meds.
Vicky and I left again, before anyone else. But it was still way pass our bed times. We were able to sleep in a little and then we had to hop on a plane back to San Diego.
This was a spontaneous, thrown together event and it was so dang special! I am so glad we invited ourselves along and were able to make it such a fun and EPIC celebration for Jackie and Josh!
Thank you very much (Elvis style).
