Cali is now 8 years old! I can't believe it! She got to pick out what we had for breakfast (cinnamon rolls and bacon) and lunch (bagel pizzas). Shortly after breakfast, her brothers each gave her a gift, and so did Gammy and Papa! Mommy and Daddy had given her the trip to "The Princess and the Frog" for her birthday, so we just had one little thing for her to open. But it was very special. Here she is wearing it.....her baptism dress. Cali will be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on January 2, 2010! Happy Birthday Angel!

Once we got home from Rick's, we all got in our Christmas PJ's and settled in for a nice night. Cali and Gavin read the "Real" Christmas story from the Book of Luke in the Bible. They did a great job! Then Papa read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to the kids. We had hot apple cider and watched "Elf". We were also surprised with a quick (yet very active), visit from Jimmy and Whitney (thanks for the cookies)!
This was the first year in a long time that Jeremy and I got to bed before midnight!
We got up around 6:30 AM, Christmas morning and SANTA CAME! We had a fun morning opening all the fun stuff and then we switched gears to celebrate CALI'S 8th BIRTHDAY, with her choice for breakfast and lunch before heading to Mark and Tracy's for Christmas Dinner!
Crashin' Christmas Eve
We had a great Christmas Eve! See, every year we go caroling and always hit my Uncle's house in Valley Center. He's been working in Utah, so we waited until he got back to go visit them. Well, we heard he was having a little party on Christmas Eve with all his kids and grandkids, and thought that would be fun to crash! So we headed up and did our thing and got to join in on their fun!
They had a graham cracker house contest and we got to stay and help Gina judge! It was so much fun! Oh and by the way...Uncle Rick referred to his home that night as the "dairy". Classic...

Missionary Christmas
Tonight we had the missionaries (Elders Eyer and Wadsworth), over for a little pre-Christmas dinner. I used my Christmas china-I had never used it before! The table looked so cute! Then after dinner, the kids, Jeremy, and the elders, made sugar cone Christmas Trees. We had a contest and Luke was the judge. Daddy won! But I liked Elder Eyer's the best! They had fun and took lots of pictures to send home to their families. Another night of great Christmas memories!

So, I got everything ready for the big Wilson Family Christmas and then got myself a "Merry Migraine". Tried to go to church, and had to leave early :-(. Came home and tried to fake my way through dinner and couldn't do it. So here are the pix. I came down just for present time and then went back to my dark room. Thanks to all my in-laws for coming and for the gifts that entertained my kids today while I laid in bed!

Almost ready...
Today was a crazy day! Cleaned the house all day to get ready for Jeremy's family. We are celebrating Christmas with them here tomorrow. We went to WalMart today and got a tree 1/2 off! Woo Hoo! I wasn't sure if we were going to get a tree this year. So tomorrow, it's breakfast, tree decorating, church, and then dinner with the best in-laws in the world. Can't wait!
