HT Village Fest

Friday was also HT's annual fundraiser.  This time they did a community festival.  We pre-purchased Village Bucks and used them at the festival to buy food/drinks and participate in fun acitivites and raffles.  The boys had so much fun running around and doing all the things with their friends...

The highlight was a performance of "No Sleep till Brooklynn" by Cucumbers in Hot Sauce...

 Great Job Guys!!!

12! A-May-zing!

This kid turned 12 on May 1st!  No Way!  And he had quite the Extravaganza of a weekend!
First, the new Avengers:  Age of Ultron Movie came out on May 1st.  He really wanted to see the midnight showing.  But I got us Early Premiere tickets at 7:15 PM instead.  He was stoked!  So we got his birthday started a little early with pizza from Lamppost-
Then we headed over to Cineopolis for the movie-
The movie was AWESOME!!!  It was not as good (I think), as the first one.  But it was still so fun and the story was done so well.  It leaves so much open for so many more movies.  And we still got home early enough after the movie for everyone to get a good night's sleep.

FRIDAY MAY 1st!!!!  Happy Birthday Lukey!!!
I got up nice and early and ran to get Luke his birthday donuts for breakfast!
He always gets a little bummed because he is the only sibling who has to go to school on his birthday.  Every one else's falls during a break.  But he went to school and was really excited because the High Tech Village Fest was after school.  He got to run around with all his buddies and do all sorts of fun acitivities.  Like dying his hair blue...
Afte Village Fest, we headed to his favorite restaurant for dinner...
 Red Robin!!!
 Gammy and Papa came too!
And even though he doesn't like them, he got a birthday sundae for the rest of us to enjoy!
We came home and did what he had been waiting all day to do...
PRESENTS!!!

Cali was absent on his actual birthday.  She went to Chloe's and then babysat the Bronsons.  So, Saturday morning he got to open her gift.  He was so happy!!!
And Saturday was FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!!!!  Hooray!
After we got our free comic books, we headed to the Ranch for the Wilson Family Birthday Party for Luke!  Yippee!

And he finally got his chocolate chip cookie cake with his 12 candles-
Sunday was a big day too!  He was interviewed, sustained and confirmed with the Aaronic Priesthood to the office of Deacon. (Not sure if I wrote that right...)  He is really going to miss Primary, but is nervously excited about joining YM.  Grandpa Doug is in town and so we went to Gammy's after church for family dinner and more birthday fun!

It was pretty cool having Grandpa here on Luke's special day at church.  He got to help with the ordination.
This kid is special!  In so many ways!  I love him so much and can't believe he is 12!  I'm so proud of him and so happy that I get to be his mom!

Brody the Bear

Now that Brody is 9, he is now working on his Bear in Cub Scouts.  We had a pack meeting on Wednesday and it was really cool, because we had an indoor fire pit and had a testimony meeting because this month's theme is "Believe".

Go Bills!

Flag Football season is almost over.  I have been so busy, that I have missed most of his games.  But last Saturday, I was able to drive up to Murrieta to see him play the Saints.  It was freezing!!!  None of us were prepared for the degree temp.
But we are the Bills!  Cold weather boys!  And yes, we won our first game!!!

 Brody got flags...

He messed his knees up pretty good...
They were so stoked over their win!!!
This year has been the complete opposite of last year.  We were on an undefeated first place team that won the Super Bowl.  This year, so far, only won one game.  He is able to experience both worlds.  The beautiful thing about this year though, is that the team is truly a family.  The coach is a really great guy and Brody really feels like an important part of the team.
