Fair Date Night!

Friday night, we were able to meet up with the Bronson/Miller Sibs for some fun at the fair!  Brian has a booth at the fair, so we get in free!  We started our night with fried food.  Jeremy got the deep fried snickers bar.  It wasn't that great...
We had so much fun hanging out eating, going through all the exhibit halls with our friends.  We ended the night with a ride in these massage chairs.  It was kind of scary.  Mine went all the way back, almotst upside down.  We were laughing from the awkwardness...
These peeps are the most fun!  I love that we get to be honorary siblings!

He's Home!

"Welcome Home Gavin"

This was literally one of the happiest days of my life,  My core memory is totally gold!

SUMMER TIME!!!!

The last kid (Brody), is FINALLY done with school!  Woo Hoo!  Time to Party!!!
Our first order of business - Going to see "Inside Out"!  This movie changed my life!  For reals!!  It taught me a very valuable lesson....its ok to be sad, mad, scared and disgusted.  You can still find joy!  I loved it so much and loved seeing it with this crew-
No Summer is official, until we have swam at Da Ranch!  We kicked this summer into high gear, with some of our favorite people!
There are days where I just can't play...I'm getting old and I get tired (and those darn headaches...).
But we always make time to eat!  And we love coupons to Souplantation!

Week 1 was a success!  Can't wait for the rest...

efy Salt Lake City *Special Edition*

This kids left for SLC on Fathers Day.  He was NOT excited to go.  I wrote a very heart felt post on my personal blog...I won't go into details here.  Let's just say, Satan was trying very hard to make sure this kid did not make it to efy.
But he went!  Thanks to Jordan and Colby, he got all checked in and had a life-changing experience.  He made some wonderful friends and gained a testimony.  He also has a new mentor, Brad Wilcox.  They will stay in touch.  Gavin texted us towards the end of the week.  He did not want to leave efy because of the love and spirit he felt there.  I hope we can keep some of that here at home now that he's back.  efy is the best place to send our youth.  I truly believe that.

Fathers Day 2015

Jermy and Luke got back from the canoe trip the day before Fathers Day.  Jeremy's car was so dirty from sitting in the desert for 3 days, that the kids surprised him with a car wash!
The first gift of Fathers Day!!!
Daddy doesn't sleep in.  But we made him, so that we could make him this delicious breakfast on Sunday morning...

He opened all of his homemade cards...
And we got him new church shirts and a cd that he wanted...

 Happy Daddy!
Jeremy spent the rest of his day on the freeway.  Gav flew out of Long Beach to Salt Lake for efy.  Jeremy got lost coming home.  He missed church and didn't get home until 4:00 PM.  He was beat!  But the boys couldn't wait to give him the special gifts they made at church for him...
At 5:00 PM, the Papas came over for a delicious dinner.  We got them socks!

And we made them 3 different types of brownies...
It was so fun to celebrate all of the wonderful dads in our lives.  We are truly blessed!

Canoe Trip

After Luke finished his last day of school on the 17th, he joined Jeremy and the rest of the V10 Young Men for a 3 day trip down the Colorado River.  There was an extreme heat advisory and I was a little leary about letting him go.  But he did and had the best time!
So glad that Jeremy got to go too and that they had so much fun and came home alive.  Stinky and dirty, but alive!
