Mormon Prom!

Yep!  Our little girl is old enough to go to Prom!  Crazy!  It was so much fun picking out the dress and shoes and on Friday, May 4th, we had to rush and get her ready after school for the 4:00 PM pick up!  But my sweet girl is a natural beauty, so that wasn't too hard!
And sweet Felipe came over to help with the make up...

She's the bestest BFF!

She looked so pretty!  I love her so much!
Tyler Nelson was her date.  When he showed up, I had to get a couple "front of the house" pics...

I couldn't go to the park, where they were meeting their group for pictures.  Brody had a game.  Katherine got to take them and got these cute pics...

They were both so happy when picture time was done...
These are my favorite from the "good camera"...

Tyler and Harrison - Cali's Best Buds! - Goofballs!
They got to have this awesome Star Wars themed dinner at the Butlers-

And Sister Butler was sweet enough to send me these great group pics-

Cali- And Cali & Tyler w/ Lizzie & Harrison...

The dance was in Del Mar.  Cali said it was amazing and so fun!  It was a "San Diego" theme.  There was a fair in the parking lot, a beach to make s'mores, games, food, cotton candy....and, of course the dance.  She loved riding the ferris wheel and getting a characature (sp??).
Chloe was there too!  And I love that they kind of wore matching dresses!

Her first formal dance with a date was a blast!  I'm so glad she had so much fun!

May the 4th be with you! 2018

Friday - May 4th!
I promised this little lady a day filled with Star Wars fun!  And she came ready with her Princess Leia buns!  I started our day with Millenium Falcon pancakes...
We went to Target and I got these cuties matching shirts to go with  their matching buns!
We listened to Star Wars music, while we made Wookie Cookies!
Then we took a little break and met the Park Day Posse at the beach!

We came home and after bathing the girls, I finished off the day with jedi face painting and lightsaber making.  It was a fun filled day!  The Force was strong with us!  Except not with my picture taking...

He's 15!

So weird, but Lukey is 15!
His birthday fell on a Tuesday this year.  I made sure to have the Birthday banner up for him, so that he could see it before he headed off to Seminary.  I also made sure to have glass bottles of DP for him when he got home from school.  My mom brought the kids home from school, so he got a yummy after school meal from Jack in the Box.
We invited all the family over for a BBQ that night.

He got lots of fun gifts from everyone.  But the final gift was the one he has been waiting for...

 A Banjo!
He was so excited!  And he got a cool case from his sister and all the accessories from the grandparents.  He's hoping the spend the summer learning how to play it.  He has been asking for one since he was about 8 years old.  I hope he really does learn to play it and enjoy it!
We had a great night celebrating with everyone...
 And he was so happy!
Luke is such a rad kid and we love him so much!

Family Movie Night

This year, the Marvel movie that came out near Luke's birthday, happened a week before and it was a good one!
This was totally unlike any other Marvel movie we have seen.  I was so worried how they were going to be able to run so many storylines and characters together.  But they did!  It was so awesome and then it ended.  Just ended.  Half of them die.  I was so numb.  We love having these fun-filled family movie nights.  Seeing them on Opening Night make it so fun and special.  I love my little geek family!  And can't wait for Avengers 4, when we find out where they go from here!
