Chargers v. 49ers

Brian Bronson sent me text last Tuesday...."Do you want to go to the Chargers v. 49er Game Thursday Night?"  Of course, I was like "Heck Yes I do!!!"  He then went on to tell me that we would be sitting in the KFMB box suite and that I couldn't wear any 49er gear....What????  OK.  So, I wore a red shirt, because I just couldn't bear to put on that Chargers shirt I have buried at the bottom of my tshirt pile.  Thursday came and we got to have a double date with the Bronsons at Qualcomm.  We even got a personal escort to our suite...

 We got to have some yummy food, sit in an A/C suite with an awesome view of the field.  The 49ers KILLED the Chargers 42-6.

 I may have gotten in a little trouble when I let a few "whooops!" slip out whenever the 9ers had an awesome play.  Not sure I'll be invited back.  But it was a fun night with friends and a great way to get me back into the Football Spirit.  Thanks Bronsons!

Happy Birthday Papa!

 My Daddy's birthday- August 26th

  The weather has been so beautiful, so we all met up at Ruby's on the pier for a family birthday celebration.

 We sat right at the end of the pier and got to enjoy this beautiful birthday sunset-

P DAY!!!

We have the most amazing Sister Missionaries right now, Sister Halling and Sister Andrus.  We get to hang out with them all the time and  its awesome!  I kind of spoil them....a little.  They got permission from their mission president to go to Boomers!  and we were more than happy to take them.  We started w/ the Castle course of Mini-Golf...

 We finished off with the go karts!  This was what they wanted to do most of all.

 And they had a blast!  Cali was so excited to ride with Sister Andrus and Gav beat us all.  I wish I could adopt these ladies.  We love having them in our home and our family.

First Day of School...Part 2

It finally arrived!

These 2 headed off to High Tech Village for their first day of school on August 26th.  It was no big deal for Gav...but Brody was a little scared and nervous.

 I parked and walked him to class.  His teacher is so dang cute and had the whole place decorated so cute!

 This is Dash, the class turtle.  I left Brody to hang out with him.

He had a great first day and loves 2nd Grade.  Can't believe my baby is so big!  Sniff, Sniff...

August 22nd, was Scrac's 28th Birthday!

We had a birthday celebration for him at The Ranch on the following Sunday.

So, Brody is going to a new school this year.  He got accepted into the new High Tech Elementary in North County.  I gave him the choice of either this or Monte Vista, and chose this.  We got to go and see his classroom and meet his teachers a couple days before school started.  He was nervous and shy...but I kept telling him that this was new for all the kids, not just him.  I'm really excited to see how this works and how well he likes it.  Here he is getting he pic takes by his Science/Art teacher, Ms. Lee. 

Since he still had some time left in his Summer, we spent his last day swimming at The Ranch. 

First Day of School....Part 1 (& First Day of SEMINARY!!!!)

So, we were told Seminary didn't start until the 2nd week of school.  We found out the day before, that nope, it was starting the 1st day.  Gav actually didn't start until the 26th, but the good boy got up and went the whole first week, even with no school!  Here he is leaving his first morning...

 Luke & Cali were so excited to get back to school.  Luke couldn't wait to get back to Monte Vista and was so excited that he got Mrs. Nolan.  Plus, he was so stoked to be a 5th Grader!

 Cali looked so cute and grown up.  She was excited too, but when we got to Madison, she become quite nervous and I became SCARED!!!  Those kids are big...and dress big... and act big.  I have never cried on the first day of school and have never been scared for my child.  I did both when I left her standing against the wall of the PE building with a school full of strangers.

When I picked her up that afternoon, she said her day was "A-Mazing!"  I was so relieved and so happy!  She is going to be just fine.

These 2 still had a week off before starting school.  We enjoyed the afternoon school shopping for them and having lunch at Rubio's. 

So, here we go.  4 kids, 4 different schools + Seminary.  I can totally do this, right?  OH, and I work 3 days a week too!
