Mother/Daughter Hair Night
Last week's YW Activity was a hair night for moms and the girls. The girls made hair masks to put on their moms.
It was so much fun! And when I washed the mask out at home, my hair really did feel smoother!
Sarah got hers done too!
14
Dang! This kid is getting too big too fast! He was so excited when he woke up on Monday May 1st! And he wanted to wear a birthday crown to school. He chose the purple on and off he went! When I picked him up from school, he was still wearing it and had a backpack full of treats from his friends. He got to open his gift from Gav, as soon as he got home. Gavin had to work that night and would have to miss the party.
The first gift of birthday! Thanks Gav!
That night, we invited the fam over for pizza and "brookies"!
Luke was stoked to get a large cheese pizza just for him!
Party People-
He got lots of fun gifts...
And the "brookies" turned out perfect!
I love him so much! He is the sweetest, sensitive, caring, so helpful and so much fun!
Jer and I got some pics at the end of the night...
Happy Birthday Lukey! We love you so, so much! Hope 14 is an amazing year!
Bestie Beach Day!!
Shauna just picked up Blake from her first year at BYU. They got her all packed up, because she will be leaving for her mission to Croatia next month!! Shauna surprised Blake with a West Coast Trip! I got to spend a day at the beach with them while they were here. I love and miss them so much! But am so grateful that we pick up right where we left off each time we do get to see each other.
My new one #HaileeRose
Guess who I get to watch now??
She is seriously a dream baby! And I love her so much!
And so do my kids!
She loves Gav the most...
Brynlee and Asher are pretty stoked on her too!
We like to play dress up with her...
And Cali loves to cuddle when she gets home from school!
We feel pretty special that we get to care for this little one!
Easters!!
Guess who woke up feeling totally sick again? Yeah...Me...Dangit!
But I still came down and watched these sillies find their baskets...
I went upstairs and passed out. I missed church. I was so bummed. But I woke up around 3 and felt better. We all got ready to head over to Gammy's for the Great Hunt! I didn't get a pic of my family in their Easter Best, so we tried to get a nice shot before we left. This is what I got...
Finally!
Well...
Yes! We Did It!
We started the festivities by playing "dirt darts"-
The Easter Gammy-
Once the McEwans arrived, we got hunting!
The annual crooked group pic - with my son as a frisbee-
Cali wore a flower crown and I love it!
After a delicious ham candy dinner, we took a walk to the beach.
It was a beautiful night:
We headed back to Gammy's for dessert and my dad tried to enforce a "no electronics" rule. It worked out really great...
It was a wonderful Easter. Even though I didn't feel awesome, I enjoyed the time I got with my family. I am so grateful for this holiday and for my Savior, Jesus Christ.
