Yesterday was Luke's Day! It's a little late....I actually was supposed to take him in October, but it just didn't work out. But he was patient and I picked him up from school early and we had an AMAZING day! The weather was perfect and there was no one there! And the place is stuck between Halloween and Christmas (decorations), so that was fun to see too!
We started our day at California Adventure. He wanted to to do the Wilderness Trail first. We completed all the things on the map, got all 6 badges and he received his Senior Wilderness Explorer Badge!
He was stoked!
We ate lunch at the new pizza & pasta place and then headed over to Toy Story Mania. The line was only 5 minutes long! Again...we were so excited!
After running around California Adventure and doing everything he wanted to do there....we headed over to Disneyland and went straight to The Tiki Room (tradition!).
Pirates of the Caribbean was closed, but we went to the store and got ourselves a new sword. We took the raft over to Pirate's Lair and found the treasure:
Aaarrrgghh!
We had such a great time hanging out together. He was completely in charge of the whole day and it was really special! Here he is whale watchin' on Storybookland:
These one-on-one days with my kids are the BEST!
