On our way!!! Preview Night...Year 9!

We almost did not get to attend this year's Con. The tickets are almost impossible to get...but we got lucky and were able to get ourselves 4 day + Preview Night. Last Wednesday, we dropped the other kids off at Gammy's and off we went! We got to the Convention Ctr a little later than usual. But, I think I liked it better. We didn't have to wait as long to get in. Once we got our badges and bags, we hit the Exhibit Hall to check out all the booths. One of our first stops was Sideshow. Look who we found-

Weta had these rad trolls from the new Hobbit movie. I had fun pretending to get smooshed!

Ooooooooooooh! We found Mordecai & Rigby!

We only stayed at Preview Night for an hour. We wanted to get home early and rest up for our early morning on Thursday!

DAY 1: Panel Day

We arrived at 7 AM for the 10:15 TORN panel. We ate breakfast and talked to our fellow "Ringers" while waiting in line. The panel was great! We got to talk about and see lots of great things from the upcoming "Hobbit" movies. And we wore our TORN T-shirts!

Next, we headed to Hall H to get in line for the Disney panel. We thought the line would be packed with Twilight Fans for the final Breaking Dawn panel. Unfortunately, there were not that many fans, and we ended up making into their panel. This was Gav's reaction:

We sat through the Breaking Dawn panel, but it was worth it, because the rest of the day was AWESOME! Disney put on a great panel! As well as, Jackie Chan and the "Expendables". Here's Gav's reaction to the Expendables 2 panel:

The Expendables 2 was probably the best panel of the day. These 2 are hilarious together:

And we got to see Arnold receive the Comic-Con Ink Pot Award-

We finished off our Thursday with a visit to the WB's free exhibit at the Hilton Bayfront. They had a rad Batman car display, video game demos and a Tournament of Nerds.

We had a GREAT Day!

DAY 2: FRIDAY!!! KID DAY!!!

As always, I brought the whole crew on Friday. We slept in (which was so nice), and got to the Con around 11 AM. Here's the kiddies on the shuttle ride...

After getting the kids' badges, we hopped in line for the Cartoon Network panels. We got to see the Annoying Orange & Regular Show panels.

I didn't get any pics of the Regular Show panel, because I misplaced my camera (dangit!). But it was the most fun panel of the day. We decided to hang out in RM 6A for the Tron Uprising panel...and were so glad we did!

We won the raffle and got this cool light disc signed by the entire cast! Woo Hoo!

After 3 panels, we were ready to explore the Exhibit Hall. We started at the Star Wars pavillion and ran in to these 2 at the Her Universe booth. Ahsoka & Boba Fett!!!!! The kids were STOKED!!!

DAY 3: HALL H DAY!

Hall H had a packed schedule of Blockbuster films. We wanted to see the Hobbit Panel at 2:30...but knew we had to get there early in order to get in. Luckily, we got there at 6:30. The line was the longest I have ever seen it!! We were so happy when we made it in. Those who got there at 7:00 or later, didn't make it in! Here we are waiting in line:
