We woke up in a hotel in Anaheim on this kid's 11th Birthday!
He was so excited to spend his day at WonderCon! And we started the morning off right with a bday breakfast at Coco's!
Then it was back to the con for a day in the Arena-
We got in line for the Animation Show of Shows, first thing!
I was so excited to see the Animated movies! It is always so great! But this year, it wasn't. They were all wierd and SJW and political. I was really bummed. And, they also asked the kids under 14 leave the room for the last 4 shorts. That really bummed me out. Brody and I had to spend the last 20 minutes of the panel in the hallway. Not cool!
We ended up spending the whole day in the Arena. We sat through a fun Geek & Sundry D&D panel and got to see an upcoming, never before seen episode of "Riverdale".
But the best part of the day was the WB/DC panel. They brought out the director if "Annabelle" first. A totally scary horror pic about a doll. Cali, Brody and I spent most of the panel hiding our eyes and plugging our ears. Although, they knew kids were present, so they kept the panel family-friendly.
Then, we got a Wonder Woman panel and it was AMAZING!!! We got to see so much footage and got to hear the director, Patty Jenkings, talk about how important is was for her to bring this movie to life! I can NOT wait to see it!
We spent the last hour of WonderCon trekking through the Hall one last time...
We saw the original "Ahoura" from Star Trek the original series!
And we ended the night at the Comic Con HQ booth having a little green screen fun!
We had a great day and the birthday boy was stoked on his new cape!
It was 7:00 PM and I surprised the birthday boy with dinner at the ESPN Zone! He loves comics and sports! So this was such a fun thing for him. He was so stoked to be able to have his birthday dinner and watch the 2nd half of the Oregon v. UNC game. (NCAA Basketball semi-final tournament)
The last few seconds of the game were excruciating!!

But UNC won 77-76 and Brody was so stoked!!!
We had a delicious dinner and he got a cookie sundae...
And as we left that night, he was so excited to see his name in lights on the ESPN Zone Marquee!
Happy 11th Birthday Brody!
