Oh My Gosh!
So, we had all been planning a big surprise birthday party for Carl's birthday at the end of June. It never dawned on us that we would probably have to observe the actual day of his birth on June 11th! So, I threw together a really lame family dinner the night before his birthday.
I didn't even have the right candles!!
He seemed a little bummed that we didn't make his 70th a big deal. But we still had a fun night together! And little did he know...
