BFF'S

Tasha and her family were camping at Carlsbad State Beach the week leading up to the wedding.  I was able to go down one afternoon and spend a few hours with her.  That's all we got, but it was great.  We love every moment we get together!  I love her and am so grateful for our lasting friendship!
The Woolf's were here for the whole month of July, and we only got to spend a tiny bit with them.  We had a beach day, a swim night and they stayed the night.  Here's a few pics before they left.  Again, we don't get to see each other hardly ever, but still pick up right where we left off each time.

Bros Surf Sesh

My little brother and his family came to town!  And (almost) all the boys got together at the Harbor for a surf sesh.  And my hubby forgot to do the Stingray shuffle....
Ouch!
They didn't surf a whole lot, but made sure to get in breakfast at Denny's:
And Jeremy got some great medical attention from the waitress...

Best One Yet! #mondaysatthebeach #beachfhe

The first Monday in July was a good one!  Lots of loved ones were in town for Sarah's upcoming wedding.  So I invited everyone to come down and enjoy our Monday at the Beach!  Dusty, Joslin & Family; Lynds & David; the Woolfs; And the Florida McEwans all came down to join us and the Miller/Bronson crew!

Such a fun day!

4th of July

This year, America's Birthday came on a Saturday!  We got all dressed up in our Red, White and Blue and headed to the Ranch for a day full of fun!

Chloe got to come with us and we had a blast playing in the pool all day...

And we ate LOTS of delicious food...

The boys had fun watching t.v., but they looked festive...

Nana had fun hats for us all!
Jeremy, Meish and Papa had a "Who wore it best" contest-
Clearly, the Winner!

And my parents came to join the fun, food and fireworks!

 I brought face paint!

And I bought patriotic glow sticks...

And we got to enjoy the Fallbrook fireworks from the front yard...

I can not believe we have never celebrated here before.  It was an absolutely fantastic day!  It was the best way to celebrate the USA!  Happy Birthday America!  We Love You!

July 3rd

It's August, but I'm going to go back and get July in here...
THIS WAS A GOOD NIGHT-
Friday night, July 3rd, we had the wonderful opportunity to go and be with Sarah as she took out her own endowment.  I loved walking into the Endowment Room and seeing her sitting there in her pretty temple dress.  The family got to go in first and give her hugs.  Mark had been doing Initiatories and got to the room after the rest of us.  He went to hug Sarah, and lost it.  It was really cool to see my brother get so emotional.  I don't get to see that very often.  Then it was funny, because when he went to sit down, Isaac grabbed his hand and they held hands for a while...
In the Celestial Room, I asked Mark about shedding the tears.  He just said it hit him so hard.  He wasn't prepared for that moment.  But it was awesome.
I love to see...
So glad we got to be there for this special night.
 And then, funny story...
We were all starving and went to In N Out after.  Mom was eating her burger when all of a sudden she says.. "Am I eating paper??? I'm eating paper!!!"  She was totally eating the paper that was wrapped around her burger!!  Gotta Love Gammy!  Good Times...
