HTeNC Paleontolgy Exhibiton

 Last Tuesdaay, Brody had his first exhibition of the year.  They have been working on alot of different projects focusing on the world around us, the earth, its history, habitats and our environement.  Brody chose to show off his paleontolgy skills and show how to excavate fossils that were donated from the San Diego Natural History Museum.

 He did a great job!  

Let's get this party started...

 So, his birthday isn't until the 25th, BUT, the new Battlefront game came out on the 18th.  Back in April when the game was announced, he made a deal with me.  He would pay for half if I got him a PS4 and the game.  He was good on his word and put $200 towards the purchase.  I pre-ordered the game and console.  Because of the pre-order, he was able to play it early on the 16th.  Sunday night the 15th, I let him open it all up and get ready.  He was so stoked!  This began a week and a half of birthday celebrations.  Happy 17th Bug!

Farrell's Surprise!

 When I was growing up, we spent every birthday celebration at Farrell's.  When I was in High School, the closest one closed down.  My mom found out that there is one in Mission Viejo and she tried all of October to get us there.  It didn't work out.  So, we finally made it happen for Chloe last night.  Mom had taken Cali and Chloe up to Orange County for their annual Christmas Dress Shopping Trip.  The rest of us headed up and met them there.  Chloe had no idea...so it was a surprise!!!

And we had the best time celebrating her birthday (which is tomorrow!)

 Then it was dessert time!  Chloe got a free hot fudge sundae and a special birthday song...

 The rest of us got sundaes and the "piggy trough"-

 Since we finished off the piggy trough, we had to take the "piggy pledge"...

And received ribbons showing off that we had made piggies out of ourselves...

This place is the best!  I'm so happy that we were able to celebrate Chlozone's birthday here.  Happy 14th Birthday Chloe!!!

Another Disney Ditch Day! Yay!

Our passes expire in January.  So we need to get in as much Disneyland as we can!  Yesterday seemed like a good day to go...AND IT TOTALLY WAS!  Since I took them out of schoo again, I made them promise to let us eat where I wanted this time.  So, it was Flo's for lunch...

 I was not feeling awesome, so I spent a lot of time like this...

They are the best team!  I love watching them hang out together.

 We started the day at California Adventure, because we hadn't been there in a while.  We always love to go play in the Animation place...

 And while Gavin and Brody went to Turtle Talk, Cali, Luke and I learned how to draw Mickey Mouse as Steamboat Willie...

 They weren't really in a ride-riding mood (weird!).  We just were chill and walked around a lot.

 But then we headed over to Disneyland and they got their rides in.  While they rode rides, I did some shopping...

 We stayed until 7!  We never stay that late.  It was such a fun day.  I love, love, love making these memories with my kids.

Forest Eyes

 My cousin, Jordan Adams, plays bass in a band called "Forest Eyes".  

He has always loved music and has pursued his dream of creating it.  This past Tuesday, Jeremy and I drove through a crazy storm, down to San Diego to see him play.  I was able to be the official photographer of the night (not these pics...I took much better ones with a nice camera...).

It was lots of fun, the music was great and it was so nice to be able to go and support our Jordan.

Happy Halloween!

Pretty much one of our favorite time of the year!  And this year, we were actually ready.  We had everyone's costumes picked out and purchased, well before the holiday.  Halloween was on a Saturday this year, so Cali, Luke and Gavin, got to wear the costumes to school.  Here is Cali as the Eleventh Doctor- Geronimo!

 They had so much fun hanging out and actually played games the whole time instead of watching movies.  It was such a fun night!

Kylo Ren-

 I am not a fan of trunk r treat on Halloween.  But we got roped into going because Jeremy was asked to be the MC.  So, here we are ready to get our trunk r treat on-

 Gavin got to spend Halloween with his buddy Ramos.  They hung out, went to see "The Last Witchhunter" and watched movies.

The Ward Party was really fun and we loved hanging out with our favorite party buddies-

 Luke was so stoked to win the Scariest Costume Award!!!

 I bought so much candy and handed it all out!  We shut down the place and were the last ones to leave.

We came home and I stayed up way late to watch "Lost Boys".  It was also the end of Daylight Savings so we got an extra hour of sleep!  Yeah!  I love Halloween on the weekends.  Wish it was on a weekend every year!
