Cali had a pretty awesome first semester. Her school does a big dinner/bingo night to recognize all the students who have accomplished good grades, citizenship and reading. She was awarded the Silver Mustang for her 3.8+ GPA, a Teal Horseshoe for Outstanding Citizenship and became a member of the Millionaires (Reading) Club for over a million words read!

There was also a raffle. My back was KILLING me and I had an awesome migraine, so I wanted to just leave after she got her awards. BUT, she REALLY wanted to stay and try to win a prize basket from either Bingo or the raffle. Her name was the VERY LAST one to be called.....and she was so stoked!
