Yesterday was the Big Day! Gavin is now 14!!!! It has gone by WAY too fast! His birthday got an early start last Tuesday, when he got his new video game download. He had the whole week off of school for Thanksgiving...and spent much of it playing the game. Friday, his friend David came over to hang out and spend the night.

Gav & David hung out all Saturday morning. It was a hot day, so we headed to The Ranch for some swimming. It was FREEZING! But kids don't care!
That night, Jeremy and the boys met up with Papa Mark, Uncle Zac and Uncle Ben for dinner at Five Guys. Then they all met up with Mark & Carter at the theater to watch:
It was a Guys Night Out! Just what Gav wanted! Here's the crew:
Sunday, his actual birthday, I got up early and made him his birthday breakfast-

We let him pick one present to open before church.

We went and had a lovely day at church...then we came home and cuddled on the couch and watched our 49ers beat the Saints! Woo Hoo!
After his hot dogs w/ potatoes and cheese dinner, the fam came over for presents and dessert!
It was a great day! He is a happy 14 year old. And I just feel...old!
