The last week of school at High Tech meant Exhibition! The kids get to present their projects that they have been working so hard on the last 6 weeks. We started with Brody's Coffee House Exhibition. The kids all wrote short stories about the class turtle, Dash. Parents donated food/drinks to sell at the Coffee House for a fundraiser and the kids took turns reading their stories on the stage while we snacked.
The room was decorated with all of their projects from the semester.
Brody's job was running the cash register-
And then he got to read us his story. It was a Dash-Minecraft Mash-up. Very Exciting!
Then we ran over to the High School to check out Gav's Mini Golf Course-
Each group was assigned to build a hole on the course with recyclable materials. Gav's group got the last hole. The built an awesome ramp with holes to hit your ball into to win a prize. They did such a great job.
I love these projects and all that they learn and are able to create. The only down side is that now that big old ramp is in my driveway....who knows? Maybe we will make our own mini golf course in the front yard. I'm sure Gav could pull it off!
